Story
My name is Navy. Come meet me! I'm a 45 lb., two-year-old female cattle dog mix with beautiful crystal blue eyes. I love all people, big and small. I get along with all dogs but NO CATS. I'm smart and learn quickly. I know several commands, walk perfectly on a leash and give gentle hugs to everyone I meet. I was surrendered by my family through no fault of my own. I would love a furever, active family, and maybe another dog, to play, run and hike with. Adoption fee: $275 If interested, please complete an application at https://forecloseduponpets.org/dog-adoption-application/

WE WILL BE HOLDING ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. No appointments necessary. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. Coco is a gorgeous female 10-year-old Queensland Heeler mix looking for her new forever home through no fault of her own. Coco loves all people, including children, but would do best in a home with no other dogs or cats. She would do best in a home with a big backyard as she enjoys sunning herself on nice days. If you are interested in Coco, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store; therefore, we cannot take every dog out to the event. Bring your entire family and dogs for a meet & greet. Foster homes & volunteers are always needed. Please contact us regarding how you can help by fostering or volunteering for our organization.

** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume. WE WILL BE HOLDING ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, BUT WE DO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THE STORE. Duke is about 2 1/2 yrs old and weighs about 49 lbs. Unfortunately, he came into a shelter as a stray so we have no back history, more will be known about me soon. He does know sit and shake with both paws. UPDATE: He was placed into a foster home, but quickly became overly protective of the mom in the home. He would not let anyone near her, including the children. During walks he would bark at people and other dogs. He needs a home with no children and might do best with a single person who understands herding breeds and their protectiveness. He will need a home with secure yard for pottie breaks. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Store, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. Story
Bentley (formerly Titan) was adopted from us as a young puppy and got returned 5 months later due to getting into plants on the patio when he was locked outside all night. We are happy to find him a better home since he should be sleeping inside like the member of the family that he is! Bentley gets along with everyone that he meets, people of all ages and dogs of all sizes. He is on the mellow side, spending most of his time lazing around with small bursts of play. His mom was mostly Lab but he looks nothing like her, our best guess for his primary breeds is Australian Cattle Dog and/or Aussie Shepherd. He currently weighs approximately 30 lbs but needs to gain some weight, we are guessing he will stay at or slightly under 50 lbs when fully grown. Please send in an application at www.waggingtailsrescue.org

Story
Henry was adopted from us in 2018 and is not adapting well to the new human baby in his family. The cries and large change in the household have made him anxious and his family has made the difficult decision to find him a home better suited to his needs where he can enjoy his senior years. Henry is house trained and walks well on a leash. He gets along well with the cats that he currently lives with as well as the other 2 dogs. He can be possessive of his toys with other dogs so a home where he doesn't have to share - or a home with a dog who doesn't care about toys is his best match. Henry has enjoyed lots of adventures with his family, from hiking and lake trips to simply snuggling under the covers while watching a move; he is happy to adapt his energy to whatever you are doing! He is 10-11 years old and weighs approximately 55 lbs. Please send in an application at www.waggingtailsrescue.org

She can even be a bit demanding for pets. She came in with red skin and once put on an antibiotic has shown major improvement in just a weeks time. We have moved her to a no grain food to see if that clears up faster. She was surrendered to a shelter for growling at the grandchildren. We do not know how old they were, if it was the running/noise which made her uncomfortable. She will need a home with children over 13 yrs. More will be known about me soon.
