Story
Meet Orwin! Orwin is our adorable black and white pure perfection of a puppy! I mean, just look at that face! He recently came to HAP from another shelter with his sister when they no longer had space for them. His sister has already found her furever home so now it's Orwin's turn! Orwin is your typical young puppy that's full of energy and is very curious. He's made a few doggy friends already and has learned that with just one look or head tilt, he can get humans to shower him with love and treats! Even though he's still growing, Orwin has tackled even the biggest of stuffies and loves to play and tackle and throw them around. He's already learned sit and how to walk on a leash and is very eager to learn and treat motivated so training him will be a breeze! So if you're looking for a super photogenic, adorable puppy that is always up for an adventure - look no further than Orwin! If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
Daisy Mae is a 7 year old blue heeler hound mix who is up to date on her shots and all veterinary care. She is very loving and affectionate and is medium to high energy. She loves to run, go for walks, and play. She is incredibly affectionate and loves to hold hands and cuddle. She is being rehomed because she is in a household with a toddler and this has become too stressful of a situation for her. She can be reactive with other dogs and people outside her household, so she would do best in a household with a family that can help her feel comfortable and would probably do best as an only pet. She is very friendly and loving towards her family and is a wonderful companion, but needs to be in a family with no younger children and with adults who can create an environment where she can relax and not have to feel on guard. She is housebroken, well trained and loves hugs and snuggles.

Oreo is a staff favorite. She is a very loving social dog. She loves long walks and having her belly rubbed.  Her ideal day is laying out in the sun and getting treats. She does get along with other dogs as long as there is a proper introduction. Oreo is often overlooked because she is an older dog. She would make a great companion or family pet. She is fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. Oreo can be transported any where in the United States and Canada. ##1499371##
