Story
Cal is a 1-year-old heeler mix who came into the shelter with another dog. Much like other heelers, he’s wicked smart. He’s a typical working dog puppy where he will need daily mental stimulation such as doing enrichment activities, playing with people or other dogs, and going on walks where he can sniff and explore. He might even like having a job to do (Maybe he can help you shred boxes for recycling?). Cal listens well to corrections and commands and would do wonderfully with training to establish good habits.DOG-FRIENDLYNOT CAT-FRIENDLYALL-AGES

Story
Nolan came in with his buddy Cal and is showing to be a pretty typical working dog puppy. He likes to be engaged with mentally stimulating activities like fetch (he’s still learning) and going for Sniffari walks. He’s learning to be affectionate as he warms up to the volunteers and shelter life. Being a working dog and a puppy, Nolan will likely not only excel in but enjoy consistent training and can probably learn advanced tricks like spin, roll over, or make the bed.DOG-FRIENDLY

Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation FREE if picked up in TN, $100 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. She has been waiting for a new home since August, 2024! Meet Millie, a 37-pound bundle of energy and love! This 13-month-old Heeler / Cur mix has a heart as big as her playful spirit. Whether she’s chasing after a ball, splashing in the water, or going on a hike, Millie’s enthusiasm is topnotch. She’s always up for an adventure, but after a day of fun, she’ll happily snooze the rest of the day away—right by your side, of course! Millie is sweet and gentle with everyone she meets—kids, dogs, cats—you name it! She’s a little shy at first, especially around new people and dogs, but with a bit of patience, she blossoms into a loyal and playful companion. Watching her come out of her shell and show off her happy self is truly heartwarming. Millie’s already learning the ropes with commands like “sit,” “come,” and “drop it.” She’s also housetrained and crate-trained, making her the perfect addition to an active home that loves long walks and playtime. If you’re looking for a small, sweet, and adventurous dog who will be your best friend through thick and thin, Millie is ready to steal your heart!  Interested in adopting? Story
Seventh Heaven is pleased to introduce you to Finn!  This handsome 2 year old Australian Cattle Dog is a show stopper!  With his striking coat and a personality that will melt your heart, we can't imagine Finn being with us for long.  Finn is extremely smart and energetic and is working on learning basic commands like "heel" and "down."  Being highly treat/food motivated, it won't take long for him to become a perfect family member and companion.   He is so eager to please and to give love which includes cuddling and lots of kisses!  Finn is neutered, housebroken and crate trained and he loves his toys!  He loves to curl up in his crate with a soft blanket and sleeps soundly in his crate all night.  You will also find our Finn taking naps in his crate and like other rescue dogs, his crate seems to be his "safe space."    He loves long walks and does quite well walking on a leash.  He will still need additional work when it comes to being on a leash and meeting new dog friends as well as continued work to get him over his fear of cars.  Despite being just two years old, Finn is puppy-like when it comes to energy and activity level.  He would do terrific in a home with either no other dogs or in a home with a dog with a comparable energy level and exuberant and playful personality.  Finn would be best in a home with no small children but older kids or kids that are dog savvy would be fine!  The perfect forever home for Finn would be with an adopter or family who have an active lifestyle where he could get plenty of exercise and attention.  We think he would make the perfect jogging or hiking buddy as well.  Does Finn sound like the perfect dog for you and/or your family?  Are you looking for a loving, loyal and playful dog?  If you are, Finn is your guy!  If you are interested in adopting Finn, please submit an application and make his dream of a forever home a reality!  Finn's adoption fee is $450 to assist paying for medical care, neutering, foster care and transportation fees. ##2300969##

Story
Interested in this dog? Bailey is a 3 year old, very sweet girl who is looking for her forever humans. She is very smart, affectionate, and loves her pets and cuddles. Bailey would thrive with an experienced dog owner and is eager to learn. Nothing makes her happier than being told she is a good girl! She is getting better on a leash, but does get excited when she sees a squirrel or other dogs. A genetic test was done and the results were: 36% Australian Cattle Dog, 22% Labrador Retriever, 10% Chow Chow, 8% American Pit Bull Terrier and 3% Border Collie. She is excellent with older kids but does need to be in a home where she is the only pet, including no dogs/cats. She listens very well when asked to do things as she only wants to please her humans. If you are looking for a true loyal companion, you have found your girl! THIS IS AN OWNER REFERRAL DOG CURRENTLY LOCATED IN &#226&#128&#139Liverpool NY.
