Story
Name: TaosNicknames: Taco, Tow-towPreferences: Good with everything and everyone!!Reason for being at BCHS: Was surrendered with my brother Telluride and my cat friends. Meet Taos, a lively and lovable 2-year-old Heeler mix with all the intelligence and energy you’d expect from the breed. He came in with his brother, Telluride, and is now searching for a forever home where he can share his loyalty and playful spirit. As a Heeler mix, Taos is naturally smart, alert, and always ready for an adventure. Heelers are known for their strong work ethic, quick learning ability, and deep devotion to their people. Whether it`s a game of fetch, a long hike, or just sticking by your side, Taos is happiest when he`s engaged and active. Taos is great with kids, cats, and other dogs, having lived with both, and he’s already housebroken and walks well on a leash—meaning he’s ready to be the perfect addition to your home. Taos, and Telluride are not considered a bonded pair, but in a perfect world we would love to see them go home together again! If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and loyal companion, Taos is ready to be your new best friend!

Story
Interested in this dog? Bailey is a 3 year old, very sweet girl who is looking for her forever humans. She is very smart, affectionate, and loves her pets and cuddles. Bailey would thrive with an experienced dog owner and is eager to learn. Nothing makes her happier than being told she is a good girl! She is getting better on a leash, but does get excited when she sees a squirrel or other dogs. A genetic test was done and the results were: 36% Australian Cattle Dog, 22% Labrador Retriever, 10% Chow Chow, 8% American Pit Bull Terrier and 3% Border Collie. She is excellent with older kids but does need to be in a home where she is the only pet, including no dogs/cats. She listens very well when asked to do things as she only wants to please her humans. If you are looking for a true loyal companion, you have found your girl! THIS IS AN OWNER REFERRAL DOG CURRENTLY LOCATED IN &#226&#128&#139Liverpool NY.
