Story
Buddy is a very intelligent dog with a wide range of vocabulary and commands. He is housebroken and knows the names of his toys, words like breakfast and naptime. He is a quick learner, very clever, and a real natural at agility and sniff games. He loves daycare and playdates, but is leash reactive. Resource guarding is another issue that has gotten better, but needs much more work. The car is a complicated place for Bud. He loves going for rides but needs to be crated otherwise he turns on the windshield wipers. Buddy needs an experienced ACD owner because he is a true heeler: strong herding instinct, nips as communication, leash/barrier reactive. He does have a bite history. Shortly after I adopted him at 6 mos old, I went on trip and he bit the hand of someone going for his food bowl. No children or cats please. He will thrive in an active house, with a fenced in yard or electronic fence, and one or more playful dogs. Bud is a sweet boy, with big feels and makes for a loyal dog.
