Story
Reba McEntire - F, Heeler mix, 4 months old Do you really understand the cattle dog tendacies and love working with them? Then Reba is for you. This girl is already herding on her on, loves to climb on anything her little legs will allow, and has the energy to match. If you love cattle dogs that love to work and keep you on the go then this is your girl! She will do great with someone that has other dogs that match her energy level or someone that loves to travel the outdoors. Reba loves being outside running around with all her foster siblings (human and canine). This babies litter and mother were dumped off and unwanted so now they are ready to find someone that will truly love them!Reba is the absolute cutest when she is getting tired as she sticks out her tongue and finds a comfy spot like a toy bin to curl up in to take a good nap. She would be great for a small farm life family to go outside and work with you all day, come in and take a good nap or go run at doggy daycare all day while you work. She is good with kids of all ages but does get grumpy when tired so the kids do have to understand boundaries. Reba loves to herd cats as they are her size but has never shown any aggression towards them at all. She plays seamlessly with dogs of all sizes but her favorite thing to do is teach smaller dogs how to climb on things they didn't know they could. Reba is a very fun, energetic, playful pup that will make a great dog to an energetic home. Since she has so many Heeler traits, an apartment is not adequate for her unless she will be ran daily or taken to doggy daycare. Reba is spayed, up to date on shots including bordatella (kennel cough vaccine which is required by boarding facilities and doggy daycares) for the next year, kennel trained, 90% house/potty trained, microchipped, and ready for a forever home! Story
George Strait - M, Heeler mix, 4 months old This babies litter and mother were dumped off and unwanted so now they are ready to find someone that will truly love them and this sweet boy is a mix of both worlds perfect for you. He absolutely loves to play but also loves to cuddle. He loves to be around everyone but also loves to be off to the side and not be touched. He loves to share snacks with everyone but also doesn't like sharing his kennel. George is a good boy that is good for any home life. He is a puppy so he has that puppy energy and still learning to not nip but takes direction well. He is a calm puppy but he isn't calm all the time since he is still a 4 month old puppy. He really loves to play with dogs and kids and doesn't care if he gets to play inside or outside, on the couch or on the floor, with toys or just your hands as long as he gets to play with someone. He is learning the leash isn't the devil but with time and patience he will be great for walking any amount of distance. George has sweet innocent eyes that will melt your heart but dont let them eyes fool you as he is still a mischievous pup. His sister Reba has taught him to use stools, chairs, and large toys to climb on things bigger then him so have deliberate thought when placing furniture in your home. He loves frozen blueberries and cucumbers the most. He was the 1st to learn 'sit' out of his litter so I have no doubt he will be a quick learner when you teach him other commands. As he gets older there is a chance he develops the Heeler tendacies so be prepared to handle those and don't expect the perfect pup to last forever without dedicated training. He is good with kids of all ages but still working on the puppy nips, good with dogs of all sizes, trying to learn not all cats are friends, he is neutered, up to date on shots including bordatella (kennel cough vaccine that boarding facilities and doggy daycares require) for the next year, kennel trained, microchipped, and ready for a true forever home for 10+ years. If you are interested in more information about George Strait then please call or text his foster at 405.371.8281March 16, 2025, 9:34 am

Story
Willie Nelson - M, Heeler mix, 4 months old This babies litter and mother were dumped off and unwanted so now they are ready to find someone that will truly love them! This red headed stranger will love you quick for a good treat like frozen blueberries and cucumbers. Willie has always been the largest of his litter because he is highly food motivated which makes it easy to train him. He was the 1st to find his voice and loves using it when playing with other dogs. He doesn't do well with cats as he is too rough when playing with them. He hasn't learned the weight of his paws and has accidentally hurt the cats when trying to play. He has never shown aggression towards feline friends but a slow introduction and training proper cat etiquette is reccomended. He does have Heeler traits as he loves to run forever it seems and he loves to jump and climb. Willie doesn't mind sitting in your lap for a bit and watching all the chaos around him but he will soon want to jump on in it. His favorite thing to calm him down is belly rubs. Willie thinks belly rubs should be never ending and will look at you crazy when your hand starts cramping up. He needs someone that can give him lots of 1 on 1 time but also can help him get all his Heeler energy out daily by going on runs around the block, long hikes in the mountains, or another dog that can match his energy. He is also a follower so if you have a misbehaving pup already in the house then Willie will soon be following their lead on all the ways to get in trouble so training is a priority. Willie does good with kids of all ages, dogs of all sizes, kennel trained (he LOVES his kennel), up to date on shots including bordatella (kennel cough vaccine that boarding facilities and doggy daycares require) for the next year, neutered, almost house broken, and looking for a home that understands his Heeler energy won't dissipate for another decade and can love that about him and help him 'work' for the next decade. Scout is the sweetest, most cuddly and adventurous gal! She loves people and is a very loyal companion. She has a lot of energy and needs space to run and play outside. She has acute kidney disease so she needs prescribed food; otherwise she has no symptoms. She does well with kids but she would need time and patience to adjust to being around new kiddos!
