Story
Hi, I`m Roderick! I`m about 9 months old and weigh 30 pounds. I am looking for a home with Heeler experience that can commit to training me and continuing my socialization!** I still need to be neutered so when my forever family decides to adopt me, I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Do you like...Dogs? I do! Please bring any dogs in the home when you come to meet me to see if we are a good fit!Cats? Due to my prey drive, staff suspect I would chase any kitties or small animals in the home.Kids? I have been nervous meeting new people and have some handling sensitivities, so I need a home with older kiddos who can be respectful of my space. 13+Anything else you`d like us to know, Roderick? I am slow to warm up to new people, but once I do I am the most snuggly and playful boy! I am still building confidence and need a home that can be patient with me during my continued socialization. I would love to go on lots of adventures and cuddle up with my person after a fun day!I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Let me introduce you to Solavina, a bundle of sweetness and intelligence! This smart heeler mix girl is all about belly rubs and quality time with her favorite person. While she might show a bit of barrier aggression with new dogs, here's the exciting news: once she's in the same pen, she gets along just fine with her furry pals. But here's the thing—Solavina has a heart that leans towards her human companions more than other dogs. When it comes to commands, she's a pro at "sit" and "stay," showcasing her cleverness. And at night, she's content to snooze away in an open kennel, peacefully dreaming of her forever family. If you believe you're the perfect match for Solavina and can provide her with the love and care she deserves, don't hesitate to apply today. Let's make her dreams of a loving forever home come true! Fill out an application today: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41Disclaimer: I'm currently enjoying the Texas sun, but the best part is that I can be transported to my forever home once adopted. The transport fee is $230, and I'll be on my way to join your family!*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41
