Story
Stormi 💜 4 yr old female cattle dog/shepard mix. She’s so smart and alert and ready for a job to do. She loves laying by the fire or at your feet. She will sit and wait for you to give her the command to “eat” before she touches her food. Needs someone who can be home with her and take her on walks, or an active person who can take her on adventures. She’s been with a pack of 3 male GSD for these past 3 years and owner has to rehome all of them. Stormi can get very competitive when playing fetch with other dogs if they get to the ball first. This is why she may do better as a single dog, but then again, it could be too much energy in her current pack of dogs. But has lived with dogs all her life. She is very uncertain about new people and needs time to warm up. Needs a secured fenced/ yard ! No cat history. Older kids ok. If you can give her her perfect home please apply online at www.hopeshavenfriends.org

Story
Hi! I’m BJ, I'm almost 12-years-old and I have a cute face and big ears that turn heads everywhere I go. People are always surprised by my youthful energy. I’m very popular at the dog park; I’m cordial with both the dogs and their parents and run to greet all the new entrants. While I like most dogs, I can be selective, so if I’m to have a dog sibling in my new home, we should definitely meet first. I have anxiety that shows up in my behavior and I'm a bit leash reactive so my foster has been working with me on this. Ideally, I'll find a home where I'm the only furry member and my new forever family will keep working with me to feel safe and able to relax. I’m a happy, curious guy who loves being by your side—so watch your step, I’m always nearby! I have some herding dog traits, so staying active keeps me at my best. When you leave, I might bark and whine, but I always settle down. At night, I sleep great—especially if I get to snuggle up with you. I get very nervous in the car, but we're working on it. My dream house has a big backyard with lots of room to run. I know basic commands like sit, lie down, shake, and I (almost always) come when called. I do bark, but only when there’s something worth noting! We recently learned from the vet that I am Lyme-positive and SDRO began treatment for me right away. The good news is that I have the chronic type rather than the active type and I am healthy and symptom-free. I love toys, and playing ball. And guess what? I hardly shed at all! If you’re looking for a loving, fun, and devoted best friend, I might be the one for you.

Story
My name’s Kilo, and I’m a 7-year-old, 60-pound Blue Heeler with a heart as big as my paws. Life’s thrown me a curveball—my mom has some health issues, and as much as it hurts, I need to find a new home. But hey, maybe that home is with you? Let me tell you a little about myself: House-trained? You bet! I know where to do my business and won’t make a mess of your floors. Other dogs? Nope, not a fan. I like my space, and if I see another dog while I’m out walking, I might bark or pull. I need a strong and patient human who understands that I prefer to be the only pup in the house. Cats? Meh. I mostly ignore them, so if you have a cat who minds their own business, we’ll probably get along fine. Food? It’s mine! I don’t like to share when it comes to my meals, so giving me my own space at dinner time is best. People? LOVE them! I’m friendly with everyone I meet—whether you’re family, a friend, or a complete stranger, I’m happy to say hello and soak up some attention. I’m looking for a home where I can be your loyal companion, your protector, and your shadow. If you’ve got a calm, dog-free home and a love for good boys like me, let’s talk! I promise to bring tail wags, companionship, and plenty of love. Are you the one for me? Let’s find out!

Story
In a world of fur and joy, there's a Heeler named Brownie, oh so coy, With fur as red as autumn leaves, he's the cleverest of canine thieves. At two, he's full of boundless glee, a furry friend for you and me. Smart as a whip, this Heeler boy, his heart's a treasure, a boundless joy. In tricks and flips, he finds delight, learning with all his canine might. Two years old, his spirit free, a loyal friend, he longs to be. Attuned to you, his person dear, his love's a bond that's crystal clear. Bestest friend, he aims to be, beside you through eternity. Fetch and roll, and sit and stay, he'll dance and prance, bright as the day. With every bark, a tale he'll weave, of loyalty that won't deceive. He dreams of walks and treats galore, his heart, your love, forevermore. Brownie, the Heeler, red and bright, a canine star, a pure delight. In fields of green and skies so blue, he'll be the bestest friend to you. Brownie has the desire to be with his person and would make a great and loving support dog or full time companion.
