Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.•Lewistown PA• Gypsy Rose was adopted through ODAAT and has been returned. We pride ourselves in our commitment to the animals in our rescue. Gypsy has some special requests since returning to ODAAT. She is an incredibly bold, adventurous, curious, protective and loyal sidekick for a single dog owner environment. She is dominant force of a dog and loves fiercely once trust & love is gained. She wants to be your one and only dog. A home with no cats and children. She needs a calm home that just wants a dog to be their best friend. She loves to kayak, hike, run through fields of grass & sniff endlessly. She requires a lot of exercise and likes to be kept busy. She is leash trained and has been through 30 hours of obedience training. Gypsy has a few quirks however we are confident that with the right family, she will thrive. If you are interested in applying for Gypsy Rose, please complete an application at www.onedogatatime.us When applying to adopt through ODAAT, please know that we take pride in placing our animals appropriately based on their needs and personality. We want the best family for them and the perfect fit for your family. All applications are ran prior to choosing an adopter.. This process takes time and we do not adopt out on a "first come first served" basis. Applications are found on our website www.onedogatatime.us.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 19, 2024, 10:21 am

Story
Meet Gizmo!Gizmo is a high energy boy looking for a new home! He would benefit from a home with herding breed experience, as he does display herding and corralling behaviors typical of his breeds. His ideal home would be someone who has lots of time to devote to exercise, enrichment, and training to keep his mind occupied! Herding breeds are very smart and, if not given a job, can get into mischief.Gizmo would be open to meeting other high energy dogs, and has previously lived with a cat. He would need an adult only home. If you're interested in meeting Gizmo, he is located at the Danville PSPCA on Bloom Rd. -- open daily from 12:00pm - 6:00pm (no appointment needed - all people in the home required to meet the dog before going forward with adoption, along with any dogs in the home with proof of Rabies Vaccine & DHPP Vaccine). If you have any questions about him, feel free to call the shelter at 570-275-0340 or email us at Danville@PSPCA.org

Story
Meet Anna Anna is a 3 year old, pitbull mix who had a rough start to life being used over and over again for breeding purposes which has caused her to be a nervous lady in certain situations. She is in search of a forever home that can give her some stability. Anna would love nothing more than to live in the safety and comforts of a home with a family that will give her the love and attention she's always deserved. She will need an owner that is patient and understanding of her past; a low-traffic, adult only home where she could be the only pet would be ideal for her. She loves going for walks, playing with toys (she's a pro at fetch!) and getting belly rubs from staff. Anna is spayed, microchipped & up to date on vaccines. If you have a nice relaxing couch with an empty seat waiting to be filled- Go to our website: www.nokillarc.org to fill out a pre-approval form! (It can be found under the adoptable dogs section).
