This fella is Hector! Hector and his 3 siblings ended up at the county Animal Control as small puppies. They came to Animal Harbor in January of 2024 and have been with us ever since. All puppies in this litter are happy go lucky pups that are super social and just want love! Hector is a 9 month old male Cattle Dog Mix and is 40lbs. All pets that are adopted out of Animal Harbor are fully vetted. This means they are spayed/neutered and receive a Rabies, yearly vaccinations, preventatives for heartworms as well as flea/tick, and microchipped along with any additional vetting required to keep them healthy and happy. Dogs/puppies 6 months and above are all heartworm tested (and treated if needed). Animal Harbor is located in Middle TN, but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

These two are a fabulous pair of mini-Aussies and they deserve a wonderful home to make up for their early life. Their original family got them as a gift for a 10-year-old who wasn't at all interested. They are 6-7 years old and until they came into rescue, they never even had names! Despite being ignored and shouted at, they are sweet boys, and they have great dog manners. They are calm, loving, and so grateful for any love and attention. They adore their new toys and were ecstatic when a friend came by with kids. They are housebroken, great with both big and small dogs and have ignored the cats completely. We have given them all their shots, had them neutered and chipped and they are ready to go to their forever home! We believe that they will be good together or separate but if you would like to take both, we have discounted the adoption fees to $500 for both. They are being fostered in TN but we will transport them to a location near you using Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

She has been with her foster family for about a year now after coming up from Alabama and delivering her puppies on the transport! Molly has received some professional training due to her anxiety and herding/chasing instincts. Being a herding dog, she is very intelligent and has a great desire to learn new things. Slow introductions to new people help Molly to understand there is nothing to fear. We are in search of special adopter who wants to understand their dog and help them be the best friend they can be. East Tn and out of state is welcome! In fact if you are seeing this on adopt a pet please note the pet is being fostered in Athens TN and the adoption fee does include the transport fee as well as the health certificate required by the USDS for state to state travel. We use Rescue riders because they are the best and so great with our pups! Meet Aster. He has already been dewormed twice, had two rounds of puppy shots, bordetella vaccine, microchipped and neutered. We are accepting applications for them at petpath.org. He will come with a leash and collar as well as his records. We are told he is about 12 weeks old now. He is one cool confident and cute pup!!! He is also playful, sweet. All of these pups have great confidence. He is great with other dogs too. The momma dog passed away and the finders are uncertain why. She was malnourished emaciated and just passed away. She was found with these puppies under a shed. The property owners moved and left the momma dog. The finder was paid to move the shed and found them and couldn’t leave them there. They fed and took care of them for three weeks. We are thankful they have a heart and helped this little family. Now it’s our turn to help get their vaccines and spay and neutered and them find amazing homes. This boy was brought back because he was too much of a puppy who chewed because he was left alone and bored. So he is on the hunt for a family who will understand his needs and keep him busy!! He has a lot of energy and playing is his thing. He likes to play with other dogs, chew on toys and run run run. He does fine with kids, will have to learn about cats. He will need some work on housetraining and leashes. He is a bit stubborn when learning manners so will need a family who can work with that. A routine that occupies his time would also be a plus as that works with his breed mix. He is a sweet boy that has a wonderfully fun personality who just wants to live to the fullest. He needs a life full of adventures and activities and we know that family is out there for him.
