Photos hardly do this beautiful boy justice. He has a wonderful tri-colored coat and striking blue eyes. At about 3 years old and weighing about 45 pounds Myles loves the outdoors and loves to explore all the world around him. Myles was turned in to the Brooke County Animal Shelter as a stray and appears to be a cattle dog/husky mix that will enjoy being a part of a family that will enjoy playtime and daily exercise. A family that is familiar to the cattle dog or husky breed will be delighted with this truly charming boy as his temperament and personality are amazing; he would also be delighted to learn as many tricks as he can to keep his mind at work also. Myles does well around other dogs but he would be equally confident and happy being a solo pup. This absolutely beautiful dog is waiting to meet his forever family. But here's the thing-I love playing with other dogs so much that I often choose their company over toys. Let's talk sunbathing. If your couch has that perfect spot for catching rays, you can bet I'll be there, soaking it all in. I'm a big fan of lounging, whether it's under tables, during dinner time, while you're working at your desk, or even when you're cuddled up in bed. I'm all about being close to my people, and if you choose to adopt me, I'll be all about you! I'm a sociable girl, getting along well with other dogs and kids (especially with submissive/non-dominant dogs). My crate training and potty training with a doggy door are top-notch. I'm a pro at commands like going to my crate and sitting patiently. Now, about my diet-here's the deal: I have EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency), which means my pancreas doesn't produce the enzymes I need to digest food properly. Thanks to some attentive rescuers and veterinary care, we've got it all figured out. I'll need a specific diet and a pancreatic enzyme replacement supplement to keep me feeling great.
