She doesn't like being left alone, even for a few minutes - she is such a sweetheart, but has a tendency to be a little escape artist. My husband and I found our precious baby boy in a flea market in Alabama, as soon as we saw his adorable face our hearts melted and he had to come home with us. Unfortunately the land we rent is being developed so we are having to move out and sadly cannot take all of our dogs with us. Dante is now about 1 year and 8 months as of this month, since we brought him home we did notice he was very shy with my husband, and soon learned he had a particular fear or distrust towards males, but I'm sure that with enough love, time and attention he will learn to trust!

Melvin is VERY loving. He's silly, loyal and very easy to love. He needs a big yard to run around in. Ours is too small. We adopted him from the shelter here in Cleveland, TN. He was so grateful, and let us know that with lots of lovins'. It breaks my heart to rehome him, but I love him enough to do what's best for him. My husband and I are 70 years old and don't have the energy we used to. Melvin needs an energetic family to walk him and play outside with him. He loves my 7 year old grandson. He let's him put glasses and hats and silly things on his head without protesting. Lol. I guess all I really want for Mel is for someone to love him like we do. It isn't hard to do, believe me.
