Abby is patiently waiting for her turn at a new life. She came in with what was believed to be her son, and he was adopted right away. She is a stunning beauty and loves everybody she meets. She is dog selective, favoring non-dominant males. She is fine with children too. Would you like to meet this girl? Contact us.

Story
This girl is 26 pounds of energy and love. She had to be captured by the local animal control officer and was prettified. She was lunging and growling and very upset. But something in her eye just pleaded for me to help her. So I picked her up from the shelter and brought her home where George (our cat) helped me show her that humans and other animals are good. George helped her calm down and let her guard down and after about an hour she was giving me lots of kisses. She is hilarious and is definitely a lover. She may need a couple of minutes to feel safe, but once she does, she is glued to you. She is extremely smart, loves to go for rides, walks and hikes or any adventure (we went kayaking) She prefers not to be left alone as she does have some separation anxiety. This little girl is ready for her happily ever after. Please visit funnyfarmpets.org to read all about our TN based rescue and how the adoption process works. Her adoption fee is $325 and if transport is necessary that is an additional $200 We are hoping to find her someone local to TN. She is a special girl who will need a special mom or dad to navigate through her fears. I may end up writing a book about her as she has given me lots of great stories.

Story
Mom Lady was picked up by Animal Control in rural Union County, MS. Shortly thereafter, she gave birth in the holding kennels. This is one of 8 puppies born in the kennels only to be euthanized 14 days later. A plea for help was posted and no one would step up. The date to be euthanized was fast approaching with another plea for help. With the threat of parvo, Mom and the remaining 7 puppies were taken to a veterinarian. Loretta and her siblings are in an emergency foster. They have gained weight and are thriving. Loretta will be spayed before adoption. Fill out the adoption application here: www.forthepuppiesfoundation.org/adoptionAugust 18, 2024, 6:26 pm

Story
Lady is a very good mom to her puppies. Picked up by Animal Control in rural Union County. A few days into the 14 day hold before being euthanized, she gave birth to 8 puppies in the county jail kennels. A plea for help was posted. No one bothered. Two weeks later another plea for help with the threat of Parvo. Again, no one bothered. For The Puppies took Lady and her remaining 7 puppies for veterinarian care. One puppy died of heat exhaustion. Mom and remaining puppies are in an emergency foster thriving. Now they are healthier and out of the heat. Lady has been able to relax and not be stressed over her puppies. Lady warms up to anyone she meets. Lady will be spayed before adoption. Fill out the adoption application here: www.forthepuppiesfoundation.org/adoptionAugust 18, 2024, 6:26 pm
