Story
Meet Ricky, an adorable 6-month-old Australian Cattle Dog mixed breed puppy who is ready to find his forever home! Ricky was found abandoned in a box with his brother and sister at Walgreens in Amarillo, TX on a day when it was 102 degrees outside. His brother and sister have been adopted, but this deserving little guy is still waiting on his forever family to find him and love him. Is it you? Ricky is very social, loves people of all ages, and gets along great with other dogs, cats, and kids. He is doing very well with house, crate, and leash training, making him a wonderful addition to a variety of homes. Ricky currently weighs between 22-28 lbs and is expected to grow into a medium-sized dog, around 40-55 lbs when fully grown. This young man is VERY sweet/social and loves every person he meets. Such a happy boy! He loves other dogs and would do wonderful in a home with another playful dog or as a single dog. Ricky loves to wrestle and play other dogs and chase & tug his favorite toys. He is not suited for apartment living. Overall, he has a moderate energy level and would thrive in homes with a yard where he can run and play to his hearts’ content. Ricky is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea and heartworm prevention. If you’re looking for a loving, fun pup to join your family, Ricky could be the perfect match! Story
Jessie is an 18 month old Blue/Red Heeler mix. We have had her since 2 months old. We love her but she is not fitting in with our lifestyle right now. We are in our 70s and find it hard to walk her. She loves children including our 2 and 4 year old grandchildren but they cannot handle her exuberance! We moved into a townhome about a year ago and she just doesn't have enough room to run and play. She sits upon command and loves to play fetch with her toys. She is crate trained and sleeps inside every night. When the weather is nice she stays in the backyard which is very small. We would love for her to have lots of room to run and play. She would enjoy a younger family with older children. She needs lots of love and patience. If you know the Heeler breed, you know that they are very intelligent and make very good pets. We currently have a 15 year old Heeler that is the smartest and best dog we've ever had. We would have her spayed if that is something you would want.

Story
She is 1 year and 4 months, and a sweet girl. She has had a bit of anxiety her entire life. We adopted her at 6 weeks old, she was the runt of the litter. She has shied away from us, life got busy and it has been hard to bond with her. She spends her days with her our other pets, and gets along very well with them. She keeps her distance from us. She will lay down and let you pick her up if you try to catch her. She is not aggressive. Unfortunately we don’t have the time, and resources she deserves.

Story
Barney is a 2.5 year old mini Aussie. He is a very sweet dog that loves to play. He does well with our other dogs, our cat, and children. We are looking for someone with a large yard or even property. Barney enjoys having lots of space to run, he needs lots of exercise! He will need a secure fence, he is known to dig! It’s important to us that he goes to a loving home!
