Story
This sweet girl found us a little over a month ago. She has been chipped and vaccinated. She has never met a stranger and gets along well with our other dogs. The vet thinks she is between 6-9 months old. Farmi is a happy girl who loves to play. She has puppy energy and needs a place to run around. She loves her toys and cuddles in her bed with them. She is looking for her forever home and would love to have another dog to play with.

Story
**Currently fostered in Conroe Texas** Meet Barkley! This sweet baby wandered up on someone's property. He was wearing a harness on that had the brand name boots and barkley, so that's where the finder got his name. Barkley was chipped, but unfortunately it was not registered. It shows that he was adopted in January, and that he is estimated about 5 years of age. He currently weighs around 55 lbs and we believe him to be a border collie/cattle dog mix. He has a ton of energy and he loves to run and play. His favorite thing in the world is to play fetch with a ball! Although, make sure it isn't a tennis ball or you'll find them in pieces! Barkley clearly was a dog that wasn't well socialized with others prior to coming into rescue. So far, he has done well with large female dogs, but he clearly lacks social skills. He does not like male dogs, and smaller dogs he is much to pushy for. He very clearly wants to be friendly, but struggles due to a lack of social skills. We believe with continued socialization with healthy, playful dogs will yield continued success with him! We suggest no cats though since he has a prey drive and goes after the squirrels and chickens. Barkley clearly knows his basic commands, such as sit, kennel, shake and settle. He is highly toy and food motivated and responds wonderfully to focused training. While he still struggles with impulse control, he has continued to show great results. With continued training, we could even see him being an agility pup! Barkley is crate trained, housebroken and does well on leash. He is fully vetted, meaning he us neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and on monthly preventions for flea, tick and heartworm. For more information on how to adopt Barkley, contact us at MokasMission@Gmail.com for an application.

Story
Hello, I am Dustin. I was saved from a rescue that got shut down in Mexico after people found out about the inhumane conditions us dogs were being kept in. I can be a little shy when meeting new people but after a sniff, I open right up. Dustin is a little over a 1 year old and very friendly with other dogs! He can be a bit vocal when he plays with other dogs but he plays nice. He has a little bit of an alpha personality over other dogs, but he is not aggressive. He is definitely a cattle dog mix and preferably looking for a home that has a yard. Dustin is high energy and looking for an active household that is going to keep him stimulated. He likes going on hikes, vacations, walks, and runs! If you are interested in adopting me, please go to the Ozzie and Friends website https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org  August 19, 2024, 6:54 pm
