Story
**Meet Bert and Ernie!** Bert (Merle) and his brother Ernie (black & tan) are two of the lucky few who found their way into rescue after being abandoned in the middle of the woods in rural Alabama. Despite being covered in fleas, dehydrated, and hungry, these resilient pups quickly bounced back and began to show their adorable and sweet personalities. These brothers are currently being fostered in a home with other dogs, a cat, chickens, and kids, so they’re well-accustomed to different kinds of friends! They love to go anywhere for a treat and have the softest fur you’ll ever feel. **Ernie** is black and tan with the cutest half tail. He's super outgoing and always wants to be by your side. **Bert**, on the other hand, has a beautiful merle coat. He’s a bit more reserved but is also a shadow, quickly rolling onto his back for belly rubs and scratches. Both pups are extremely submissive and ready to find their forever home where they can continue to share their love and sweetness. If you’re looking for a loving companion, either one of these boys could be the perfect addition to your family! Gypsy is a quirky little girl. She likes time to think things through and build quality relationships with people she can trust. She is a good, devoted companion who shows her best self to her favorite people. Treats and kindness go a long way with Gypsy. She is best suited as an only pet in an adult home.  ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB:  Oct 2020 ~  Intake weight:  45#  ~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlAugust 16, 2024, 9:26 pm

Story
We're not saying he's a cliché, but if you know Shepherds, you know a lot about Ranger! He is a super smart boy who likes to have a job to do. He'll keep himself occupied if you don't. But if you are a 'shepherd person' looking for a buddy for chores, games, or even sports, Ranger is looking for you. He has received professional training and proven himself to be treat motivated and a fast learner ready to try new things. He's solid on his basic commands and hoping for bigger and better challenges. He also loves squeaky balls. Because he is very selective about dog friends,  it is best he live in an only-pet home. He may get on with other dogs, especially smaller than him, with slow introductions over time.  ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB:  Nov 2018 ~  Intake weight:  55#  ~  Adoption details:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlAugust 16, 2024, 9:26 pm
