Story
**Meet Bert and Ernie!** Bert (Merle) and his brother Ernie (black & tan) are two of the lucky few who found their way into rescue after being abandoned in the middle of the woods in rural Alabama. Despite being covered in fleas, dehydrated, and hungry, these resilient pups quickly bounced back and began to show their adorable and sweet personalities. These brothers are currently being fostered in a home with other dogs, a cat, chickens, and kids, so they’re well-accustomed to different kinds of friends! They love to go anywhere for a treat and have the softest fur you’ll ever feel. **Ernie** is black and tan with the cutest half tail. He's super outgoing and always wants to be by your side. **Bert**, on the other hand, has a beautiful merle coat. He’s a bit more reserved but is also a shadow, quickly rolling onto his back for belly rubs and scratches. Both pups are extremely submissive and ready to find their forever home where they can continue to share their love and sweetness. If you’re looking for a loving companion, either one of these boys could be the perfect addition to your family! Story
Russell is a sweet, loving dog with a quirky side. He's a cattle dog by breed so he's very hyper and can be nippy especially w/ other animals. He's always lived with other dogs and has rarely become aggressive, but when crowded or shown aggression has become aggressive. He loves to be outside and explore his environment. He would be a good hiking buddy and has also ran with horse riding groups in the past and did really well with that. He likes to snuggle, but doesn't want to be picked up or grabbed. He's house trained and generally will notify if he needs to go out to use the bathroom. There have been rare accidents, but he really does try to alert that he needs to go out. He knows some basic commands like sit/lay down/stay as well. Generally he's a good loving dog. Just a bit hyper/quirky and not great with small kids. He's never attacked a child, but doesn't do well if he's cornered/chased so if he would regularly be exposed to small children that's not ideal.

Story
Winston has been our family dog for seven years, purchased from a local private breeder. He spends the day in our fenced yard and is in our home in the evening. We have toddler grand kids and he is good with them and has never bitten anyone. But he will bark at strangers and neighbors who approach our backyard from the outside. We have ducks and he has too much of a hunter's instinct not to attack them. He is fine with our cat. He will be happiest with a yard in a rural setting and a daily walk. He loves playing fetch and is very loyal.

Story
Hello! Pictured above is Mika! Mika was adopted from the shelter about 3 months ago. She is spayed/up to date on vaccinations. She is microchipped and is good on walks. She has also been exposed to grooming regularly. Mika also has the sweetest personality and is truly a cuddle-bug. She loves to lay in bed right beside you and snuggle!! She is also crate-trained (and has no problem sleeping in her crate at night!) I have one other dog (a 16 lbs Cavapoo) and they got along perfectly! She also has not had any problems with other dogs, but she needs time to warm up first. The only reason I cannot keep Mika is solely due to my living arrangements. I do not have the space to support her lifestyle. She is VERY easygoing, but does require 1-2 walks or exercise times to keep her energy at bay! Please reach out for more information!! She will come with her crate, airtag collar (w/airtag included) and everything else that is currently hers!
