Story
Meet Kiko!Hi there! I’m Kiko, a 3-year-old beauty who just might be one of the volunteer favorites here at the shelter (okay, they tell me that all the time!). I’m smart, sweet, and absolutely love my walks—especially when the sun’s out. But don’t worry, I’m built for chilly weather too, so when that second winter sneaks up on Atlanta, I’ll be your perfect snuggle buddy through any snowpocalypse!I have great leash manners and love meeting new people. I’m medium-energy—always up for a walk or a little playtime—but I’m also happy to chill out and relax. I’m not super into treats, but I’ll light up when it’s time to play or explore. When it comes to other dogs, I prefer slow introductions and would do best with a calmer, older pup who matches my vibe. What I lack in snack motivation, I make up for in smarts and attentiveness—I’m always tuned into my people. If you’re looking for a loyal, outdoorsy girl with a heart of gold, come meet me today!

Story
Gypsy is a quirky little girl. She likes time to think things through and build quality relationships with people she can trust. She is a good, devoted companion who shows her best self to her favorite people. Treats and kindness go a long way with Gypsy. She is best suited as an only pet in an adult home.  ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB:  Oct 2020 ~  Intake weight:  45#  ~  Adoption details:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 1, 2024, 11:11 pm

Story
We're not saying he's a cliché, but if you know Shepherds, you know a lot about Ranger! He is a super smart boy who likes to have a job to do. He'll keep himself occupied if you don't. But if you are a 'shepherd person' looking for a buddy for chores, games, or even sports, Ranger is looking for you. He has received professional training and proven himself to be treat motivated and a fast learner ready to try new things. He's solid on his basic commands and hoping for bigger and better challenges. He also loves squeaky balls. Because he is very selective about dog friends,  it is best he live in an only-pet home.    ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB:  Nov 2018 ~  Intake weight:  55#  ~  Adoption details:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 1, 2024, 11:11 pm

Story
Beetlejuice isn't just a dog—he's an experience. A tiny, shadowy figure with ghostly white, clouded eyes, he moves through the world like a harbinger of mildly unsettling omens. Blink, and he’s suddenly closer. Whisper his name three times, and he might already be in the room. Despite his eerie aura, Beetlejuice enjoys the simple things in life—long naps in dark corners, staring deeply into souls (or at least where he thinks souls are), and terrorizing unsuspecting delivery drivers (with aggressive tail wags). His hobbies include barking at nothing (or something—who can say?), standing ominously in doorways at 3 AM, and making guests question their entire reality. JK, his actual hobbies are aggressively wagging his tail (see above), snuggling as much as possible and sleeping soundly, like a good little ghoul. Is he adorable? Yes. Is he terrifying? Absolutely. Is he secretly the gatekeeper to another dimension? We don’t think so… but best not to take any chances. At 9 years old, Beetlejuice has perfected his ghostly presence. Although he is completely blind, that doesn’t slow him down—he just operates on a slightly more supernatural plane. Weighing in at 40 pounds, he’s the perfect size for a small specter and is fully housebroken. Due to his blindness, he navigates best in a home that’s mostly on one floor—after all, mysterious disappearances are one thing, but unexpected tumbles are quite another. All jokes aside, everyone who meets Beetlejuice absolutely falls in love with him! He is so so so nice and silly and calm and the absolute perfect dog! Thank you for your interest in one of our furry kids! Adopting from Releash Atlanta means you will adopt a dog that has been fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped and medically cleared!! Oslo is an 8 year old male Australian Cattle Dog mix, who is a sweet gentle boy! He is shy when first meeting people, and may even be hidden in his dog house when you first approach his pen. But soft treats and sweet talk will work their magic on him, and soon allow his friendly side to show. From there, his sweet mellow nature and lovable personality shine! Oslo is currently living with two other dogs, both one year olds, and still has plenty of energy to keep up with them.
