This little beauty is Bristol. AKA Luca, Luca B or Lukey. To our best knowledge, she was born in January 2020 in Cleveland, Texas. Like many dogs that end up in rescue, she was part of a litter of puppies that were simply unwanted. She spent the first year of her life living in an outdoor pen unaltered with two of her brothers. Luca came to Minnesota almost three years ago and she's lived here knowing nothing but love and kindness. She has always been a very fun and happy girl and she loves being the boss of her current furry brothers. She also loves her human sister immensely. She doesn't mind the cat but she does bark at him when he walks by her kennel at night. Unfortunately, the house that she lives in is very busy and there is a lot of increased activity as her human sister gets older. Luca has shown that she does not handle the commotion or change very gracefully. We have been working with her for a while however she is a herding breed dog and takes her excitement out in the form of nipping much like you would see in a cattle dog on a farm. Her family has sadly decided it would be best for her if she could live out her days on a farm or with an active human or couple of humans. Luca is kennel trained, potty trained, walks great on a leash, loves going camping and loves to cuddle and give kisses. Just don't squeeze her too tight because she doesn't like it. We know the perfect family is out there for her and until we find it, she's safe with her current family. We truly want the best for her! Bristol's adoption fee is $400 plus MN tax which covers her spay, vaccinations, microchip and any additional medical care she may have needed while in the rescue's care. We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are. Jensen is a silly, sweet, and eager-to-please dog who is quickly becoming a part of the family. He's a fast learner and has mastered potty and crate training. He loves playing and cuddling with his large pack of foster siblings. Jensen has overcome so much in his short life. He started in Oklahoma on a property with other semi-feral dogs who were abandoned before being taken in by a kind citizen. He was in rescue down there for a while and then he made his way up here to a foster home. He enjoys exploring the outdoors and chilling on the couch watching movies. This versatile dude can rally for anything with his fam by his side. Ideal home: Jensen would thrive in an active home with a family who loves playtime and cuddles. Jensen does need another dog in the home as a buddy. He is so loving and playful with other dogs and enjoys his feline friends foo. Our best guess is that Jensen is a Heeler & terrier mix. Jensen's adoption fee is $425 plus MN tax which covers his neuter, vaccinations appropriate at the time of adoption, microchip and any additional medical care he may have needed while in the rescue's care.
