Jensen is a silly, sweet, and eager-to-please dog who is quickly becoming a part of the family. He's a fast learner and has mastered potty and crate training. He loves playing and cuddling with his large pack of foster siblings. Jensen has overcome so much in his short life. He started in Oklahoma on a property with other semi-feral dogs who were abandoned before being taken in by a kind citizen. He was in rescue down there for a while and then he made his way up here to a foster home. He enjoys exploring the outdoors and chilling on the couch watching movies. This versatile dude can rally for anything with his fam by his side. Ideal home: Jensen would thrive in an active home with a family who loves playtime and cuddles. Jensen does need another dog in the home as a buddy. He is so loving and playful with other dogs and enjoys his feline friends foo. Our best guess is that Jensen is a Heeler & terrier mix. Jensen's adoption fee is $425 plus MN tax which covers his neuter, vaccinations appropriate at the time of adoption, microchip and any additional medical care he may have needed while in the rescue's care. We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are. Meet Fett, a 6-year-old energetic and loyal friend! Fett is looking for a foster or foster to adopt home where he can thrive. He's a playful pup who loves to run and fetch (especially balls!). 🎾 He's lived with cats, dogs, and children. 🔊Fett is a vocal boy who loves to let you know when he's excited or feeling a bit unsure with strangers and other dogs. He's learning to communicate his feelings clearly and calmly. 🏠 Fett appreciates a calm and respectful approach and doesn't like to be startled or cornered. Continuing to work on the "Place" command will help Fett have a place where he can feel safe in. 👶 Fett's herding instincts are a natural part of who he is, so it's important for his human companions to understand and respect his boundaries. Polite and dog-savvy children who can learn to interact with him calmly and respectfully will be essential to building a happy and harmonious relationship.

Story
Meet Jordy, a sweet and gentle soul with adorably large ears and an even bigger heart! Jordy's journey started with hardship when he and his siblings were sadly abandoned. While his siblings have found their forever homes, Jordy is now ready for his chance to snuggle his way into yours. Initially shy around new faces, Jordy blossoms into a loving companion once he feels safe and secure with "his people." He's a true cuddle bug and will happily curl up on the couch with everyone. Interestingly, in his foster home, Jordy seems to do particularly well with toddlers, perhaps finding comfort in their predictable energy. He can be more nervous around older children who move more quietly, and may need a little extra time to feel comfortable around them. However, he is showing great progress as he and the older kids learn each other's cues and his foster family has seen positive adaptation from both sides. Jordy also finds immense comfort and confidence in the company of other dogs and would thrive in a home with canine friends. Bonus: he's cat-friendly! He's shown no interest in chasing the resident cat and completely ignores them. Jordy is crate and house-trained and is waiting for a patient and understanding adopter who can continue to help him build his confidence and navigate interactions with children.
