Story
This kind, gentle girl is a 2 year old Australian Kelpie mix, that weighs 30 pounds. Sally is smart, athletic, and on the shy side. She takes her time to warm up to new people, but once she gets to know you, she is very loyal and loving! She is dog friendly, potty trained, crate trained, and does well on a leash. She is food motivated too, and loves her toys! This little beauty would excel at having a job like agility. She is so smart, and loves learning new tricks. Sally is pretty spot on energy-wise for a dog of her mix. She would benefit from someone who wanted to work with her on training and learning some fun new tricks! Sally would make a wonderful walking, hiking, all around adventure buddy! She would love to be someone’s companion and best friend! Maybe your resident dog is wanting a friend? At only 30 pounds, she’s really the perfect size, and might be exactly what you’ve been missing in your life! Story
Meet Hopscotch! This sweet girl was found wandering in the cold in a rural area of WA. She is now safe in a foster home and doing so well! Hopscotch is a small girl, around 33 lbs and looks to be a Kelpie mix. We're not quite sure what she is mixed with but she is full grown and will remain a nice medium size. Our vet estimates her to be 10 months old. She's playful, fun and absolutely loves the male Malinois she's being fostered with. This little peanut would love another young playful male dog in her permanent home or a very (outdoor) active person. She is house trained and her foster is working with her on some other skills like recall and crate training.  Hopscotch will alert bark when people come to the door but is friendly upon meeting people. She has a tendency to jump up in excitement but her foster is working with her on that and it is an easy issue to fix.  She likes to play with other dogs and sometimes is a bit pushy to let them know this.  Hopscotch is a lovely girl. We'd like to see her in an active home committed to training her and providing her with physical enrichment. We have not seen her with cats so we recommend her for a cat free home.  Hopscotch will be vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $450   We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Welcome Dixie to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 9-month old Smooth Coated Collie/Kelpie is our best guess on breed. She weighs 50 pounds. She is very very loyal to her people and would be great with someone wanting a dog to go with you places or if you work from home and want a loyal partner. She is crate trained, potty trained, good on a leash and good in a car. She was found as a stray and her foster mom has been putting this girl through dog training. She is doing really good in her classes and is learning some more basic commands. She is a higher energy dog and would be great for a runner, jogger or hiker type person. She is lower on the shed scale. She has a lot of personality and would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Her best home would be with a fenced yard. She could run and play off some energy. She likes you to be outside with her as she wants to be around her family over exploring the yard all along without you. She would be fine with children as well. We like them to be 8 or older. She is up on her vaccinations, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland(Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. We can put you in touch with her foster mom after you put in and get your application approved. We can also set up a meet and greet if you are local in Texas. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.

Story
Hi, Tassa is my name and if you want an all-around easy dog to get along with - I'm your girl! I love to swim, run, and play. I can already imagine all the fun things we could do together. But I am also very content to lay by your feet and just chill. Don't worry - I'll periodically give you my paw to let you know I'm there and available for cuddling. I don't need constant attention, but I'll take as much as you want to give.I can be a bit shy when we first meet but I warm up quickly and then we are best friends.I am still a young girl who is very curious and learning new things all the time. I getting pretty good at walking on a leash without pulling - and with your help, I'm sure I'll be perfect soon! And did I mention I love treats? I already know how to sit for a treat. Being food-motivated makes it easy to train me. I get along great with most dogs after we are introduced, but I can be a bit vocal with dogs that I don’t know. Once we are introduced, we're good friends. In fact, I go for walks on our La Paz Malecon every Wednesday just so I can meet new dogs and people and be a social girl. If you like a great dog - who has the energy to play when you are ready, will chill and lay at your feet while you work, and be ready for cuddles when it's time -- I'm definitely the girl for you.If you think we could have a happy life together, then just click on the "Apply to Adopt" button. I will be waiting for you!Lots of love to giveTassa To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. There you will see any videos, more photos and details.

Story
MEET ROCKY, a 1-year-old Australian Kelpie in need of a foster or forever home! Rocky is a very affectionate dog who loves both humans and dogs alike! He weighs only 40 lbs., and is a loving boy. Kelpies are intelligent dogs, believed to have been descended from Border Collies. They love to be stimulated with walks and other activities. Rocky would do best in an active home where his person or people work from home, or are retired, as he loves company. He'd also thrive in a home with another dog, though it's not a necessity. Please email for an application.

These pups are in Dupont, Washington too!

Story
Charger was saved in TX and we have no foster for him in the PNW:( Charger is almost 2 years old. He was neutered when he came into rescue. He is very dog and human friendly. Active when released from kennel but calms down after tiring out. Dog and people friendly. Likely not good with cats but we do not know. All dogs come with a 5 day trial period. Please ask us how that works. He can be transported to the PNW (and other places in the US) https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ Charger is not physically at Pet Central SATX rescue but is with a person who fosters for this rescue and they would come through this rescue as she has met Charger.

Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. In foster in Bothell, WA RONNIE is an unusual Blue Heeler mix female. She is about 1 ½ yrs old (DOB 6/1/23). She is outgoing and happy while also a bit shy and reserved. She loves to play with other dogs. She is good with my cats … not doing anything, just sniffing. Of course, my cats like to tell the dogs where to go… :). She walks easily on a leash and rides well in the car. She weighs 44#s. She would be a great companion dog for another dog…and for an older person/couple that likes to throw the ball and take long walks. She would be good with a child if they could be gentle. We are working on house training. Ronnie was found out on the street…scared, skinny, and in need of help. A foster took her in and gave her good food, attention, and love. She was scared at first with the new people around her but now she loves to be petted and hugged. Check our YouTube Video: https://youtu.be/PFsQf0FE41I Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/ This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.
