Story
Pete is a four year old mini- aussie that weighs 20 pounds.  He came to another rescue as a retired breeder dog and transferred to Fairy Dogmother when space became limited there.  Pete is a happy, friendly, very sweet fellow that needs a quiet, stable home with people who have the time and patience to teach him how to be a house dog.  He gets along well with other dogs, but no cats here so that is unknown, so am going to err on the side of caution and say no cats.  I believe he would be good with kids who know  how to respectfully treat a dog.  Pete is now neutered, fully vaccinated, known to be heartworm negative and is on monthly flea and heartworm preventive.  His tax deductible adoption fee is a donation to the rescue in the amount of $600.January 17, 2025, 1:19 am

Story
Meet the 14-week-old chipmunk (ooops! We mean, Aussie Shepherd Mix) litter including Alvin, Theodore, Simon, and Jeanette! Playful, outgoing, and affectionate, they presently weigh around 13 pounds which will become somewhere between 45 and 50! These are such great pups! (posted 1/23/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **March 12, 2025, 2:02 pm

Story
Panda is a 4 month old mix of Aussie Shepherd and Heeler. He presently weighs 20 pounds and will mature to between 40 and 45 pounds. A tripod missing his left front leg has not kept this boy back at all. Tripods lose only their leg, not their love of life or their love of play. Panda loves to play, is very friendly, and quite affectionate, too. He does fairly well with cats who don't realize that all he wants to do is play! Great with other dogs, too! Such a sweetie! Story
Say hello to Duke!! He is an approx 3 year old Australian Shepherd that is the sweetest love bug ever! He loves dogs, cats, people, everything! His downfall is he will clear any fence and will come when he wants to. He is trained on invisible fence, however, and is very good with that! He will not escape a fence if you are in the yard with him but he just wants to be with his people so he will escape if left alone. Duke loves to play with other dogs and will do best in a home with a fun furry playmate. He would love an active family that will take him on adventures and let him snuggle with them at the end of the day. He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area. If you are interested in Duke please submit an application to be considered.
