Story
This is Walker, a Border Collie mix.  He’s around 3 years old and weighs between 45 and 50 pounds.  If you look closely at him, you’ll see his heart in his eyes.  That’s because he is a true lover and an old soul, despite his young age. Walker wears a medium length, white and black coat which suits him well. In addition to his good looks, this boy is also a dog of great temperament; he gets along well with other dogs, kids and his foster’s cat.  Walker would be a fine family dog.  (posted 3/21/24, TN)    **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $395 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.  August 18, 2024, 2:19 pm

Romeo is such a loving, cuddle bug! He just wants to be in your arms all the time! He loves to run, and he is super-fast! He travels very well in the car for long distances and is house trained. He works really well with another dog to be his buddy as he does not like to be alone. He is a male, 6 years old, 12 pounds, neutered, microchipped, up to date on his shots and ready to be adopted!

Story
Josie is a 3 year old border collie aussie mix. She is a fuly deaf - partially blind double merle. She is a high energy dog who needs a lot of excercise and attention. She is a natural fetcher, with balls being the only toy she wants to play with. She also loves going on hikes, runs, and walks. She also loves playing in water! She will only cuddle when she is worn out, but she is a velcro dog and loves laying right next to her person when she rests. Josie needs a home with no other pets and no younger children (teenage and adult are okay). She needs a home where she will get plenty of excercise and time outside (she is not a cuddle lap dog).

Story
We got Duke and his sister, Piper, when they were 6 months old. Duke is 12 years old now but he doesn't have senior energy just yet. He's an amazing dog and an amazing friend and is very chill for a border collie; his favorite past time is hanging out on the couch. He loves rubs and any attention he can get, really. We unfortunately need to rehome Duke due to our youngest child developing severe allergies to dog dander. We just want to make sure he goes to a home where he can get the love and attention he deserves and even though he does like to lie around, he needs a home with a backyard so he can stretch his legs from time to time.

Story
We got Piper and her brother, Duke, when they were 6 months old. Piper is 12 years old now but she's still an active girl. Piper is a border collie through and through. She loves to play catch and run freely outside and loves rubs and attention (she'll go in for lots of face kisses, too). Piper is a smart girl so she'll catch on quickly when learning new things. We unfortunately need to rehome Piper due to our youngest child developing severe allergies to dog dander. We want to make sure that Piper finds a new home that gives her the love and attention she deserves and a backyard is a must since she loves to play outside.

Story
We found Lucy girl in January. She was a stray from Mississippi who was either dumped or got lost. We just could not leave her out in the cold, so we brought her home. She was guessed to be about 3-4 months in January by our vet. She is a fun, energetic, loving little girl. She greets you at the door with lots of love and kisses. She gets along great with our older dogs, but does require a lot of attention to keep entertained, or just like any other puppy will chew up anything. Unfortunately we just do not have the time to devote to her to keep her active due to having a newborn at home, and Lucy deserves a loving home with someone who can spend more time with her. She knows how to sit and is potty trained. LOVES to play fetch and go on walks. It will break our hearts to rehome her, but it is what is best for Lucy!
