Story
Hallooo world. My name is HONNI (Honey), how do you do? Here is a bit of info about me:Breed: Australian Shepard/Canaan dog mixAge: 2 yrsGender: FemaleWeight: 20 kgHeight: tbdCountry of origin: LebanonHighlights: Loyal, Intelligent, Affectionate, Calm, Independent I am a faithful & chilled out girl, awaiting a family to adore and in which to bring joy. And don't you just love my unique markings?Rescuers heard me screaming and followed the sound. When they got closer, they saw a man hitting me with a wooden stick. I was crying out, desperate for help. My rescuers would not walk away from this ghastly cruel scene. Without hesitation, they came in and took me. People in the area were telling the man to either poison me or put me in a bag and throw me on the highway. Sadly, these are the horrors in my country.I had been through so much and I was terrified, but I somehow knew they were there to save me. Being I wS wearing a collar, showed I once had a home, but likely was abandoned. Life on the street was just as harsh, as my previous family.Despite everything though, I remain a sweet and friendly pup, so they named me Honey. You'll find me quite the intelligent pupper, as well as affectionate. I tend toward the calm and can be independent, so I should be able to entertain myself when you are busy. I hear something called a kong toy stuffed with peanut butter is a good distraction. SMILE. Some confidence building exercises should be included in my training regimen.Hoping we can enjoy some cuddles and adventures together. I await your calling my name. Please be patient assisting me in my transition.Training: Some.Leash skills: Some. Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: Some, as I am in a shelter environment. Please help me learn where to go in my new home. Health notes:I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East. [TURKEY] *Dogs receive 4D SNAP tests - which include: Heartworm, Ehrlichiosis, Leishmania and Anaplasmosis. ##2158697##

If not, another flight will need to be searched for, though there is no guarantee a free or lower cost one will be found. Though oft times a passenger is requesting higher amounts, the fee will not exceed $250. Story
Hi, my name is Bambi! I am a gentle, special needs angel currently living with dogs just like me in the Middle East until I can find my forever family! I am excited to find a home patient, experienced and as in love with me as I will ABSOLUTELY be with them!  Name: BambiBreed: Australian Shepherd / Shepherd MixAge: 3 years oldGender: FemaleWeight: 23 kgHeight: 65 cmHighlights: loves other dogs, bonds quickly with humans, playful, kind - currently living in a home with other disabled dogs When my guardian angel found me in the street, I was only 8 months old. I could barely walk and I was barely strong enough to get around. My rescuer was so kind and took me to her home where I have been nurtured ever since. I live with other super playful disabled dogs and I am really happy! The vet thinks I was hit by something on my back when I was a puppy and that is how I became paralyzed from the waist down. I have no feelings down there so my guardian angel human helps me when it comes to peeing and pooping. I am slowly getting better but I will need a family as loving as her that is willing to take me to physiotherapy sessions and help me gain the strength back in my muscles down there! I am super kind and bond quickly with humans. I love being around others but I also do really amazing on my own! No separation anxiety for this girlie. I am independent despite my disabilities! Fun fact about me: I can walk using my two front legs for a really long time without getting tired and I LOVE having a house with a yard. I am a big fan of exploring new places! Energy level: Medium - my disability doesn't slow me down! I love to play Get along with:Dogs: yesCats: UnsureKids: Unsure Fears: Unsure, please be patient with me to work through any that may come upTraining: I am a VERY quick learner and though I have disabilities, I do love to listen. Story
Say hello to Mr. Bailey! Just look at this handsome boy! He is a gentle 5 year old Australian Shepherd mixed with Australian cattle dog blue heeler. He is an abandoned rescue from up North. His current foster home is working with him to get a bigger picture of his story so will update as we go. She does say that he just skittish or uncertain but is very sweet. She also says that he walks really well on leash and is an easy dog to handle. He gets timid and may growl a little when he sees another dog coming but is not aggressive and does not react, just cautious and still uncertain. Bailey is house trained, vaccinated and neutered and is fine with other dogs. He has not been tested with cats as of yet so not certain but we feel that he may be just fine. Someone who has some experience and patience with a dog of his breeds as they are loyal and highly intelligent and need activity to keep them healthy and happy. An adopter who can help him come out of his shell would be the ideal home for him. Please contact us for more information and if you are interested in giving a forever loving home to Bailey!

Story
Hi, Im Coco, a 2.5-year-old Aussie-doodle looking for my forever home. I’m playful, snuggly, and full of love. I’m great with my humans, love toys (especially fetch and tug-of-war!), and have excellent recall off-leash. After a good walk, I’m relaxed and enjoy playing with my toys or snuggling. While I can be a bit nervous around new things and dogs, I just need a confident, experienced leader who can guide me. I’m great with my commands, love my daily walks, and am very polite during meals. I’ve been to training and daycare, but I need reassurance in new situations. I would thrive in a home with no other dogs, as I can be territorial. I also prefer older kids (13+), and I am not good with young children and need to be in a one-dog only home and no cats. I’m spayed, up-to-date on shots, and in excellent health. I need an experienced dog owner who can help me overcome my anxiety and continue my training. I’m loving, loyal, and would make the best companion for the right family!

Story
** Health Status ** - Is scheduled for tooth scaling. - Has some spinal stenosis, thus his gait is slightly unstable. However, his condition does not require surgery. - The surgery to remove the lump has been completed. The liver is inflamed and needs to be managed while the eyes have nuclear sclerosis. - He has a lipoma on his instep that has been bleeding, and is being watched carefully if there is continued bleeding. Meet Haesol❤️ After roaming for an unknown period of time, Haesol entered a local temple in search of food and refuge. Fortunately, the monks took good care of Haesol, but there were cats in the temple that they had tended, so they were unable to continue caring for him. Haesol was rescued thanks to the efforts of an Adogs volunteer who learned about the situation. * Toward People: Shows curiosity about strangers, even if they're new to him! Shows interest but doesn't enjoy being touched. Relaxes with familiar people. * Toward Dogs:He accepts doggy friends who come up to him rather than approaching first. He stays still when they approach rather than playing or reacting. * Separation Anxiety: He doesn't have separation anxiety in the house and usually sleeps even when he is with other dog friends. When he is confined to an unfamiliar place, such as a kennel or hotel room, he barks demandingly after about 10 minutes, but in his comfortable home, he doesn't bark at all. * Potty Training: He's good at peeing on a pad when he's at home, and he's good when he goes outside, but he prefers to do his poops outside. * Hygiene: Is terrified and dislikes bathing, either because he is not used to it or because of his hump on the body. * Walks: He walks well without pulling on the leash. Sometimes he goes where he wants to go, but if you give him a little tug on the leash, he will follow. * Car sickness: He doesn't like to ride in cars and sometimes barks. * He doesn't bark at all, except once in a while when the leash is tightened to show his discomfort. * He doesn't like to have his paws touched, so he barks and runs around, and he gets scared when there's a sudden loud noise, like a bus. * He has a calm and relaxed nature. At home, he is very relaxed and not very interested in toys. He is very curious and enjoys going for walks. 💙 Foster's Instagram: @easystar_imbo

Meet Melon!! He is a gentle and affectionate boy who wants to be loved :) Behaviours from foster home : Melon is a bit shy, but he is a very sweet and a lovely boy who loves his people and want to be loved by his hoomans :) He can be a bit timid and shy at first time. It would be appreciated, if you could give him some time to get used to his new family and new environment ;) But, once he gets comfortable- he will shine and show his all the love to his pawrents :D He is good with other doggie friends, also he's never showed any aggressive behavior to other dogs. He even likes cat friends, even though they don't like him. haha~ He is great with kids. He might be afraid of male adult in the beginning, but he will get more comfortable with time. He is good with bathing and grooming. His shedding is about 5 out of 10, and his energy level is about 6 out of 10. Also, he is NOT a picky eater at all :) He is also good on his walk. He might get excited when he sees other doggie or cat friends, but once he passes them, he will be on his way. The things he likes are going for a walk, sllippers and hide and seek in the house :) He doesn't like when someone touches his hind foot, but he will get comfortable with time. He gets a little uncomfortable when people hold him, so he will appreciate gentle approach :) He is pee-pad trained 100%, but only with the artifical grass pad. He is not a big barker and he doen't have separation anxiety. Melon may be a bit shy and timid at first time, but he is such a sweetheart and he is very gentle and loving~ Would you be his loving pawrents? :) Allergy/health issues : He hasn't showed any allergy issue. He is a sweet, healthy boy!! :) *Please send all inquiries to @everlove8282. *Please submit your applications through the application form on our Instagram profile! Our team will carefully consider each of your applications to find the perfect forever homes for our dogs. *As all of our dogs are currently in South Korea, there will be an adoption fee of 700USD + customs fee (if applicable) for each dog.

✅️Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet Jella🖤 She was rescued along with her brother Latto from Korean city shelter, where they were being cared for by a member of our Adogs team! We urgently rescued them from the shelter, which often posts euthanasia lists due to the overwhelming number of animals needing protection. * With People: she loves people and quickly opens her heart to even strangers, showing her cute side. She likes people so much that she pees a little because she's so happy when people pats her.🤣 * With Dogs: she plays with other dogs actively. So she likes a dog with similar energy. * Hygiene: she takes baths gently. * Walks: she enjoys going on walks so pulls the leash a little. She's being on training for it. * Car sickness: she rides well in the car without showing signs of sickness! * She is very intelligent and quick-witted. She can learn individual skills only in 10 minutes! ❤️ Foster's blog: https://blog.naver.com/PostView.naver?blogId=babytranquillo&logNo=223689051575&navType=by

Hi there. My name is ORIO (Oreo) and here is a bit of info about me:Breed: Border Collie / Labrador mixAge: 3-1/2 yrsGender: femaleWeight: 38 lbsHeight: tbd Highlights: calm, cuddler, loyal, clever Left in the freezing cold in Lebanon to fend for themselves at a young age, I was found on the streets roaming around and looking for food in the garbage. Me and my best friend Ollio were constantly harassed by passerbys. We were threatened with being shot, if not removed. Thankfully, a rescuer came through for us. I was pregnant when found and since had 4 adorable puppies (they will be up for adoption later.) I was transferred to a boarding shelter until a home was found.  I certainly enjoy snuggling, a real cuddle bug they call me.My foster says I am great in the house, calm outside and don't bark a lot. I enjoy the great outdoors. So much so, that it would be best to go to a home with some decent sized property for me to run around."Very sweet & very loving" is how my foster describes me. My foster has worked with me to get me to stop pulling on a leash. Now, I'm a pro walker. I am also great in the house.I have no aggressions at all and will wait to eat til told ok. I get along fine with other dogs. Not sure cats would be a good match nor chickens, as at times I have dug holes to try to escape from the acreage to get to the chickens next door... chicken al fresco. So, best without the temptation around. You will not find any behavioral issues with me (other than chickens), so should be fine with older kids. You'll see I am bright-eyed and happy. Very loyal and clever too. Bet you could teach me tricks.I really need to find a home with my buddy, Olivia (also posted), as we are quite bonded with one another. Energy Level: moderate I get along with:Dogs: yesCats:  noKids: no Prey drive: fairly high. My adopter needs to be willing to train me through these behaviours, should they arise. Fears: none observed. Training: house and leashLeash skills: yes Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: yes. Please help me learn where to go in my new home. Health notes:I am spayed/neutered, vaccinated & microchipped. The adoption fee for me and my buddy Olivia together is a whopper deal at $800. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. ##1374363##

Here are some facts about me:Breed: Border Collie/Lab mixAge: 3 years oldGender: maleWeight: 50 lbsHighlights: rather laid back, enthusiastic, playful, cuddly Skills: I am housetrained but I don't get much practice walking on a leash as I currently live on a farm where I have a lot of space to run around. I have a moderate energy level. I'm actually a fairly laid back kind of guy - I love to run and play outside and then come inside for a nice cuddle. I LOVE car rides and I love my food. This can make me responsive to treat rewards for learning new stuff but it also means that I like dining on my own so I can make sure that I don't miss out on any of my delicious food. Don't get me wrong, I do like to have other dogs to play with but perhaps not little dogs. For whatever reason, I'm wary of them but I love hanging out with dogs my own size or bigger. Please, I don't socialize with the feline types and I am a bit too rambunctious to make me a good companion for kids. My foster says I'm a great sleeper and then, when I wake up, I'm eager to get my day going. I would really love a big fenced yard and some loving humans to adopt me and then we can go on a whole bunch of exciting car trips. Would you like to join me! Health: I have been immunized, microchipped, and neutered. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. ##1831102##

Story
My name is NODDY and here is a little info about me:Breed: Border Collie/hound mixAge: 3 yrsGender: maleWeight: 46 lbsHeight: 20 inchesHighlight(s): affectionate, loyal, calm, funny, playful, loving, confident Known as an Indie dog, I look very much like a NZ Huntaway sheepdog. Who knows if there is actually any of that in me, but neat anyway, don't you think? I am a loving boy, whose tail never stops wagging. My rescuer found me in a dire situation. I was living on the streets and become a victim of human cruelty. A drunk man had chained me and I was being dragged and beaten up with a stick. https://youtube.com/shorts/81PYRImrcpc. I was bleeding from my mouth and had scratch wounds all over my body. When my rescuer saw what was happening, she intervened immediately. Even though I was in bad shape, I still wagged my tail at her. She shifted me to a boarding home and there I have been living since. You see in my country of India, us mixed breeds are not treated well. I have not had even one lead for an adoption.I am also a Distemper survivor. I had it at 8 month old, but am completely well now.Given my penchant for affection, I am good with dogs of all sizes, as well as kids. Sorry, haven't had intro to cats yet. And just look at how excellent I am with the vet: https://youtube.com/shorts/P-uf4VaxC4I. You'll find me playful, but also a big cuddle buddy. I'm calm, confident, & loyal. You'll see I have a funny, amusing side to me, as well. So, I should keep you amused. See how silly I am here scratching my back on the bricks:  https://youtu.be/9HanyGs5RH0. Hoping we can have some adventures together, but also do some big time snuggling. Yah, pink bows on a boy dog, I know... but a boy can be Noddy, Naughty, Not he, once in a while can't he? Hahaa. The rescuer thought I was cute in them though. I think a moderate to semi-moderate lifestyle of activity would suit me well. Always up for a sniffathon walk, but just as happy to hangout on the couch getting ear scratches. Mmmm, streeeetching out, just thinking about my future: https://youtube.com/shorts/P-uf4VaxC4I. I'm awaiting your call. Aren't I wonderfully loyal? https://youtube.com/shorts/kaTob_NyRwc. Energy Level: moderate to moderate- lowI get along with:Dogs: yesCats: unknownKids: yes, vid coming Fears: none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition.Training: leash & house skillsLeash skills: yes. Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: Yes. Please help me learn where to go in my new home. Health notes: Previously had distemper. Clean bill of health now.I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver.
