Story
Welcome Simba to CCPAL Rescue. Simba is a 6-month old Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd dog. He weighs about 35 pounds and may be fully grown. We think he will be a medium sized dog full grown. He is great with other dogs, good in a crate, smart and good with people. He is stunningly beautiful with the ice-blue eyes. This boy has beautiful ears that are almost fully erect now. He is smart, affectionate and will make some family a wonderful companion. He is great with other dogs, good in a car and getting his vaccinations. He is neutered and ready for his forever home. He can be adopted locally in Texas. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is in Texas now at CCPAL Rescue. He could be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland(Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. This dog is sweet and a head turner His adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 if you have any questions. Please go to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com with questions. You can get an application online at www.ccpalrescue.org

Story
It’s obvious that Chet has STAR quality! Not only is he the most handsome guy around, but he is also a very affectionate dog and he is very smart. He went to puppy school as a youngster and learned his basic commands. He being on the receiving end of his human’s attention, snuggling with them on the couch, sleeping in the bed with them and he always gives kisses freely. He’s a lot of fun too… loves to play with toys, and if you’ll throw them, he will catch and retrieve balls and frisbees. Chet is a fairly quiet and a little shy, he doesn’t like a lot of commotion around him and as was stated before, he want’s all of his human’s attention for himself. He has always lived inside and is protective of his house. That being said, he needs to be in more of a quiet, calm home and he needs to be the only dog in the home. He gets along with other dogs as long as they are laid back/submissive, but prefers not to live with them. He hasn’t been around little kids, but would be fine around older kids that would respect him and treat him with kindness. Chet will make a wonderful companion for a quiet, laid back family! He is three years old (dob 11/9/21) and weighs 40-45 pounds, has been neutered, micro-chipped, 4DX heartworm tested, fecal tested, is current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400. Chet is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and his fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.

Story
Yozuri and her sister Yamaha were found when their foster parents were on a walk. The sisters came trotting out of the woods where they had been living in a cardboard box. They were vetted and fostered and adopted to a home. Due to unforeseen circumstances that were not at all of her making, Yozuri finds herself back in the care of Save a Stray once again hoping for a forever home. Yozuri is just happy about life. She is housetrained and crate trained. She gets along with everyone, loves toys, and playing fetch. Yozuri is smart, comes when called, and gives attention easily. She is a playful girl but also loves to snuggle. She is a delight to have around. This girl deserves a home to treat her like a princess. Story
Chloe is around 11 months old and weighs about 50-55 lbs *Chloe was an owner surrender, she was too energetic for her home. They did not exercise her at all. She always enjoyed the amazon boxes the drivers would leave a little too much. Unfortunately, some people get puppies thinking they’re cute and forget they can be hard work. Chloe is the sweetest girl though. *VERY Active – Needs an energetic home and one that will provide proper exercise, training and consistency for this amazing girl *Very watchful and curious, loves to people watch *Loves toys, almost too much. Needs non destructive ones because she loves to rip them up *Loves children, but is not very well trained so could be rowdy with very young ones. *LOVES other dogs, small and big. Not one she hasn’t met that she doesn’t get along with *Working on house training, but just needs consistency *She is super smart and very loyal *Loves to be loved and petted. People pleaser. *Quirky and very entertaining. May lick you to death. Chloe will be spayed, heart worm negative, current on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and given a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption.
