Story
Meet Bailey, a SUPER cute 2-3 year old spayed female purebred Australian Shepherd, weighing about 40 lbs!  Bailey is a very friendly girl who loves all dogs, people, and kids! She does have a high prey drive and is not good with cats, chickens, or other small animals. She would LOVE a fenced in yard of her own to get out her zoomies, and maybe a doggo sibling to play with too! Bailey also loves watching tv and taking long, luxurious naps as you can see in her photos! Bailey is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. Apply to meet this sweet girl today!  Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2288229##

Story
Meet Max, a handsome 1 year old neutered male Australian Shepherd, weighing about 35 lbs! This dapper gentleman has STUNNING blue eyes and beautiful blue Merle coloring. Max is a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly and is a very sweet boy! He plays very well with other dogs, and is good with kids (can be cautious of young kids, older kids recommended). He has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how he would do with cats. He is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. Apply to meet this sweet boy today! Story
It’s obvious that Chet has STAR quality! Not only is he the most handsome guy around, but he is also a very affectionate dog and he is very smart. He went to puppy school as a youngster and learned his basic commands. He being on the receiving end of his human’s attention, snuggling with them on the couch, sleeping in the bed with them and he always gives kisses freely. He’s a lot of fun too… loves to play with toys, and if you’ll throw them, he will catch and retrieve balls and frisbees. Chet is a fairly quiet and a little shy, he doesn’t like a lot of commotion around him and as was stated before, he want’s all of his human’s attention for himself. He has always lived inside and is protective of his house. That being said, he needs to be in more of a quiet, calm home and he needs to be the only dog in the home. He gets along with other dogs as long as they are laid back/submissive, but prefers not to live with them. He hasn’t been around little kids, but would be fine around older kids that would respect him and treat him with kindness. Chet will make a wonderful companion for a quiet, laid back family! He is three years old (dob 11/9/21) and weighs 40-45 pounds, has been neutered, micro-chipped, 4DX heartworm tested, fecal tested, is current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400. Chet is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and his fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.

Story
This absolutely beautiful, flashy sweet girl is Rosebud! Shes a dreamy little angel who can’t wait to find a family to call her own! She came into the pound and the moment she came through the door everyone was smitten! Thankfully, wonderful volunteers were happy to take this girl home and ensure she’s safe and sound until she finds her forever! Rosebud is only about 12 months old! She’s a perfect age with some foundation but still a baby ready to learn the lifestyle of her new family! Her current weight is 49 lbs, and she is healthy as can be! She is now current on all vaccines, dewormed, heartworm tested negative, she’s current on flea, tick and heartworm preventative, she’s microchipped and spayed! She’s happy and healthy and ready for adoption! Rosebud has been doing great in foster care! She has been perfect with house training since day one, even in the pound! She reliably goes potty outside, she’s walking great on a leash, and is such an easy girl to love! She has medium energy level and loves to hop right up in the car/truck and join you on your next adventure! She loves hiking, she enjoys the water, and has been a wonderfully well rounded social butterfly. She absolutely loves toys and is so happy to have an outdoorsy fun lifestyle with her people! She does however also have a wonderful balance of being snuggly and wonderful and easy going at home. She likes to curl up on the sofa with you at the end of the day for a long snuggle. She loves her movie nights as much as she loves her sunny days! She’s been great with other dogs and hasn’t paid attention to the kitty she’s living with in foster care. She’s been an overall joy and is ready to live a beautiful life with her dream parents!
