Story
This friend has just arrived because their owner could no longer keep them. While owners can provide some history on their pets, our medical and behavioral teams will still evaluate them. Dogs that have lived in homes previously typically have some training established, but we cannot guarantee that those behaviors will remain consistent in a new home environment. They are pending interactions with other animals at the shelter until they have been cleared by our vet. Our staff will spend some time getting to know them and we will update their bio with more information as we learn. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
We'll also keep you updated on Milo (Mee-Lo)'s adoption status with email updates.

Story
Dog Name: Jimbo Breed: Australian Shepherd Mixed Sex: Male Age: 41/2 months Weight: 15lbs. Medical Needs: He is neutered and will need vaccination booster depending on time of adoption. Housebroken: Yes absolutely had no mistakes, which is amazing for how young he is! Crate trained: Yes, sleeps through the night. Wakes up around 7-8am to potty and eat. Goes out again around 10am to do his business again. Good in the car: Yes, quiet and loves to ride. Good on a leash: Yes, for a puppy he does exceptionally well. Energy level: Medium, has some puppy energy, loves his naps and to snuggle. Need a fenced in yard: No if walked and played with during the day. A fence would be nice to play and get zoomies out. Dog Friendly: Yes, loves to play with them. For his size he does excellent. Cat Friendly: Yes very good with ours. Happy to see them, tries to get them to play. Kid Friendly: Yes, he’s friendly with everyone. If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with. Any age. Babies and toddler would need supervision because he’s smaller. Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Jimbo is a cutie pie, very sweet, affectionate, playful, excellent boy! He likes to hang out with you and play with his dog buddies. Jumps around in circles for joy! Enjoys his walks outside to explore. Knows how to play ball, sit and come. Likes his toys and chewing on bones. Still teething. He’s a loving, easy going boy! Follows you everywhere. If you’re looking for a life long pal and companion, he will be your loyal family guy! Who ever adopts him will be a very lucky because he is exceptional! It’s been hard not to foster fail but we have four resident doggies so five would put us out of fostering.
