Denali is a 5-year-old, 50-pound bundle of fun, loyalty, and goofy charm, looking for his perfect forever home! This handsome neutered male Australian Shepherd is playful to the core—his absolute favorite activity is playing ball, and he's always ready for the next round of fetch.
Denali’s hobbies include:
Chasing the spray from a water hose
Tossing stuffed animals in the air (and catching them like a pro)
Going on walks
Champion-level tug-of-war matches
With a medium energy level, Denali thrives on shorter walks and several short play sessions throughout the day—just enough to get his zoomies out and then chill.
Denali would be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home. While he coexists peacefully with other dogs and ignores them on walks, he truly prefers the attention and companionship of his humans. As long as other dogs don’t interrupt playtime, he’s just fine!
He's leash-trained and walks like a champ, greeting people with friendliness and curiosity. He may pull if something exciting (like a squirrel!) catches his eye, so he’ll need a human strong enough to handle the occasional enthusiastic tug.
Denali is house-trained, well-mannered indoors, and has been working on ignoring the resident cat—he’s catching on quickly and just needs continued guidance.
He does get nervous during fireworks and loud noises, so he’ll need a family who can provide comfort and reassurance during stormy or noisy nights.
Because of his size and strength, Denali isn’t a match for homes with small children—but he’ll make an incredible companion for adults or families with older teens who can match his energy.
