Story
Hello, my name is Kaylee! I'm a MINI Aussie Shepherd mix, weighing only 30 lbs. I'm 1.5 years old but wise beyond my years.....eh, year. I was previously with a family that did not have time for me and kept me crated a lot. I do well with not going potty in my crate, but I can be a little whiney when in there. I'm just sick of that life! I'd rather be exploring or getting cuddles. I can be a little anxious at first, and may be more outgoing in a home without so many dogs (6-7 in foster home). I'm just very gentle, not pushy, and will quietly wait my turn for love. I do great with the other dogs though! We love to play and wrestle all over the house. I am great on a leash and do well in the car also. I would love a family to build my confidence and show me the world.

Story
Hello! I am Wolfee! I had a rough start to my life and I am so thankful to be here, ready to find a family who will love me, care for me, and fill my days with joy. I am very sweet, I can be shy meeting new people, but I love to snuggle in once we are friends. I have met dogs here and do well with them. I love to go on walks or snooze by your side. Come meet me today!Wolfee is currently Foster to Adopt for his skin, but he would love to meet you today, come on down!If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict. The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 PetWatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neutering-heartworm testingAdoption fee: $175.00Per state law chapter 25.4, adopters must purchase a non-refundable 2024 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. Pet Helpers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foster based volunteer rescue located in Fairmont, WV.  We do adopt out of state to approved applicants, if you are willing to drive to WV to pick up your pet.  We do not fly or use transport companies.  Our adoption fee is $150.00 for mixed breed puppies and adult dogs, $225.00 for full blooded puppies and adult dogs and $50.00 for cats and kittens.  Regardless if the animal is a mixed breed or full blooded they are spayed/neutered prior to adoption IF they are old enough.  If they are too young at the time of adoption, then it is your financial responsibility to spay/neuter the pet by the age of 6 months and you must provide proof for our files that it has been done.  All of our pets are checked by a vet, given the shots appropriate for their age and any other treatment deemed necessary by the vet.  All of our pets are adopted as indoor pets and are not be outdoors tied to a box 24/7.  The pet you are adopting has been living in a home with a foster family.  You are expected to take possession of the pet you are applying for within a few days of application approval.  This will enable us to accept another pet into that home.  Because we are a rescue, and believe that spaying and neutering is crucial in stopping the reproduction of unwanted puppies/kittens and massive amounts of animals dying daily in shelters across the country, we expect any animal already in your home to be spayed/neutered. If for any reason you are unable to keep the pet you have adopted you are required to return them to Pet Helpers, Inc.  They are not to be sold or given away.   Check us out on Facebook!!!!!!  We hope you will give us two paws up, like our page and share with your friends.  Pet Helpers, Inc.
