Meet Calix. This gorgeous boy is about 9lbs and 8 weeks old. He’s super sweet and cuddly with endless puppy kisses to give. Calix is playful and fun-loving. He thinks toys are great and tug is a blast. Calix has been raised with exposure to dogs, cats, kids and all the fun stuff about being part of a family - he’s ready for his forever home! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter. While she enjoys her play time with her fosters dog siblings she will go find a spot whether in a crate or under the couch to take a nap. Please consider adopting Lillium into your family. Calla. She’s named after a flower due to her delicate nature and beauty. She’s 1-2 years old and 35lbs. Calla is absolutely fabulous with dogs and cats and has never met another animal she didn’t like. She is the mother of 8 puppies that she raised with grace and now that she’s done her job, she’s so ready for a family of her own. She is super affectionate and cuddly once she feels safe. She’s apprehensive at first but then she’s on you like glue, Velcro, your new best friend. Calla is an easy-going dog who’s pretty low maintenance. She loves treats, snuggles and naps most of all. Hiya! My name is Sally and I’m a mixture of sugar and spice and everything nice 🎀 I’m new to the shelter and I hope I won’t be here long. Maybe you’ll consider adopting me? Let me tell you all the reasons why you should. I’m a young lady (around 8 months old) but don’t let my age deter you because I’m also very smart. I’m an Australian Shepard mix. My breed has all of the best qualities - they say I’m intelligent, loyal, energetic, athletic and easygoing (wow I’m a catch if I do say so myself). I’m around 34 pounds and I probably won’t get much bigger. I’m medium in size but my heart is larger than life. I really enjoy playing in the yard and exercising but I do love winding down after my playtime. I love meeting new people and getting pets and snuggles from everyone!!! I’m a good listener too and I learn very quickly. I’m smart and sassy. As much as I love it here, I’d love a home to call my own and warm bed to rest my pretty head. If you think you might be a good fit for me please come and meet me during adoption hours. I think I’d do well with some furry siblings too! If you have any in your home please bring them to meet me as well. They say we need to do a meet and greet to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone! Stay sweet -Sally 🎀🐾 The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30pm-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. ***MAZIE MAE IS A COURTESY POST - SHE IS NOT IN OUR CARE*** Mazie Mae is 10 yrs old and 67 lbs, she is spayed and up to date on vaccines. Mazie Mae's current family can no longer keep her due to recent health conditions. Since we are currently full and on an intake hold, we are trying to help her find a new home. Mazie Mae is very friendly, very easy to take care of and is very low maintenance. She LOVES kids and being around them. She lived with another dog in the past but she has not been around cats since she was a puppy. She is crate trained and house broken. She has a leaky bladder that she was recently medicated for and the medicine has been working great. She will need to be on this medication for the rest of her life. The medicine costs $135/year.
