Story
Murphy came in with his brother Mack. Both are sweet, loving, mid- to high-energy boys. Murphy started out more independent than his brother and still probably is a bit, but he also seeks out attention from time to time and can be very affectionate. Murphy looks more like pure Aussie than his brother, but he may still be mixed. We'd love Murphy and Mack to be adopted together. They are bonded and thrive in each other's company and the company of other dogs. A physically fenced yard is required. Murphy is available for adoption in Ohio to residents of Ohio. If you are interested in adopting Murphy, please complete the online application here (copy and paste into your browser): https://hhdane.formstack.com/forms/lostpetrecoveryadoptionform

Story
Mack came in with his brother Murphy. Both are sweet, loving, mid- to high-energy boys. Mack has been just about the sweetest boy ever from moment one—extremely affectionate and just loves giving you big Mack hugs. He loves when you let him be a Velcro dog, but don’t get the wrong idea—when you need your own space, he is very good about not being pushy about it. Mack’s brother Murphy looks more like pure Aussie, but we’re pretty sure that’s Mack’s mix as well. We'd love Mack and Murphy to be adopted together. They are bonded and thrive in each other's company and the company of other dogs. A physically fenced yard is required. Mack is available for adoption in Ohio to residents of Ohio. Story
Meet Hannah! Hannah needs a patient foster to help her acclimate to indoor living. Hannah raised a couple litters of puppies as a stray. We trapped Hannah and also took in one older pup and three young puppies (Hannah is the presumed mother of all four).Despite living as a stray and not having much interaction with humans, Hannah has done surprisingly well acclimating. She is comfortable in a crate and doesnt mind other dogs or cats. She comes when called and lets both adults and children approach and pet her now.Due to Hannahs background, we will require the foster to have a securely fenced yard. Hannahs biggest struggle is with leash training. She has chewed through two leashes so far. She does go to the door when she wants to potty (so we assume at one point she did live indoors) but startles at the sight of a leash.Hannah has the potential to be a terrific dog! She just needs a little help with leash-walking and some time to decompress.Fostering or foster-to-adopt are both options and we can provide a crate, baby gates, harnesses, and leashes to help accommodate Hannah in your home. Her adoption fee, should you choose to adopt, is $250. That includes her future spay as well as heartworm testing, preventatives, and vaccinations.Apply at ricopetrecovery.org if you are interested in fostering or fostering-to-adopt Miss Hannah.

Story
Kobe was picked up as a stray and spent a month in a rural shelter. Kobe is medium size and wont get bigger than 40-45 pounds. He has long, cream-colored fur and bright blue eyes. We presume he has some Australian Shepherd and or husky in his genes.Kobe is a wonderful loving dog that does well with cats and dogs, but does love to chase birds and squirrels. He is doing great potty training. He is a bit timid but loves attention from his family and going on walks. He does not like being in a crate, but will tolerate it. He would prefer a home where he will not be crated for long hours. His favorite thing to do is give hugs. He isnt rough, but will jump up and wrap his arms around you for the biggest hug!Apply to meet Kobe at ricopetrecovery.org. Adoption fee is $250 and he is fully vetted.

Story
Milo is looking for his new forever home! Milo was rescued from an Amish family that had a barn dog. Milo was from one of her litters. Mom has now been spayed and Milo is looking for his new home. Milo loves his family and all the normal puppy things, like cuddling and toys. Ever since his sister was adopted, Milo has struggled with meeting new people. We think he may do best with another doggy friend for security. You can apply to meet Milo at ricopetrecovery.org! Adoption fee is $350 and includes first three set of vaccines, neuter and microhip.
