Story
I adopted him when he was only 5 weeks old. In truth, I didnt quite know what I was getting myself into with a high-energy working breed. I have done my best to try to give him the proper exercise and attention that he needs but now that I work full time I cant do that. I am being urged to rehome him or I wont have a place to live. As much as I love him, I really want him to go to a good home with good people. Heres a little about him: Hes a cuddle bug! He loves loves loves to sit in your lap and cuddle with you. He is energetic! Perfect for someone who likes to go on hikes or runs! He is eager to learn! He will take to obedience training very easily! Hes a little shy of new people!! This important because if he barks at you when he meets you, its not aggression. He is just a little scared. Once he is comfortable with you, hes really an amazing dog. Hes still young so hes the perfect age for learning new things!

Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Seneca, SC Kruze is an 2 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs around 60 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention l. Kruze is nervous around strangers and kids! He hasn’t been tested around cats or other dogs. However, he does great with the other dogs in the home! Kruze is terrified of people. He might growl if people try to pet him, but he won’t bite once they do it. His owner says he just starts shaking so bad and will urinate. He is comfortable with his owner, but on his own terms, because he won’t come to her when called. Kruze is crate-trained, but isn’t housebroken. The owner is surrendering him because he came from a shelter where he was skinny and terrified. Her goal was to help him get healthy and become more confident, but she is now at a loss on how to help him. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Kruze, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Kruze. Owner’s Contact Information: Misty at misty2623@hotmail.com.

Story
Valley Girl. This little girl is the sweetest. Initially found as a stray, Valley was facing euthanasia as she was so scared in the shelter environment. You ought to see her run and play with the other dogs now! Valley may be shy initially but once you've earned her trust, she's a joyful, happy, funny, silly, sweet affectionate pup. Potential adopters will need to come and spend time with her on multiple occasions, but it will be so worth it. All it takes is a little patience to reap her as your incredible reward. Valley loves other dogs and is good with cats. She does need a fenced-in yard as although she loves to explore on quiet wooded trails, she thrives in a well-known, stable environment. Valley is approximately 4 yrs. old and 35 lbs. She's the perfect sized pooch! Want more info on Valley Girl? We don't blame you a bit. Don't call! Go to: www.AlmostHomeDogRescueNC.com to submit your no-cost/ no-obligation adoption application. An Adoption Coach will then reach out by phone to tell you all about this special girl. Hi! My name is Timothy. I am a really sweet pup, and I am just looking for my furever home! My mom is a purebred miniature Aussie (she weighs 21 lbs) and we think our dad was a beagle. I am 8 weeks old (born around April 29, 2024), weigh about 5 pounds, and I love dogs, cats and kids. I am doing so well with all of them in my foster home in South Carolina! I am neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, dewormed, current with all vaccines (as appropriate for my age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. I am all ready to be adopted :) My adoption fee is $450, and covers all of my vetting, and includes transport within the next two weeks, if my new family lives in the northeast USA. ***PLEASE DO NOT FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO ADOPT WITHIN THE NEXT TWO WEEKS**** Please visit https://www.apply.daybeforetherainbow.com/ to fill out an adoption application form or email my rescue at taryn@daybeforetherainbow.com!
