Rocky came to me a few months ago as his previous owner is a traveling electrician. We had hoped this was temporary, but as it turns out, Rocky is looking for a permanent home. Preferably someone with a flexible schedule because he enjoys company and exercise. He enjoys the dog park and being off his leash. He can run for hours. He really loves water and other dogs. He has the best temperament towards kids and all people. He’s not the most affectionate and cuddly on purpose, but he does love belly rubs and neck hugs. He’s great and obedient on a leash and knows most commands. He does get a little anxious in the car and when the doorbell rings but with some reassurance he calms down. He’s an amazing dog and makes the best companion.

We have had Mick for 9 years. He is a great dog with lots of energy. However, our family has grown and both our boys are allergic to dogs. We tried to make it work but they just can’t cohabit in one house and now Mick spends all his time outside. He is undeservingly neglected and we wish that he can go to a family that can play with him again. He doesn’t do well with other large dogs but has no problem with small dogs, he’s lived with corgis and dachshunds. He does have nerve damage is his hind right leg, so he has a permanent limp, but managed just fine.

Courtesy Post- Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Ashland City, TN Meet Mr. Man! He is a 2 year old Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd mix and weighs 70 lbs. He is neutered and microchipped, but isn’t up to date on shots (except for rabies) or on heartworm prevention. Mr. Man is great with kids, cats, and dogs! No farm animals, due to his reactivity! He is housebroken, but isn’t crate-trained. Mr. Man can herd his people and will playfully wrap his mouth around their hands and feet when he is excited. Mr. Man is positive for heart worms and is currently being treated using doxycycline and mixidectin (vie topical advantage). He has 2-3 treatments left to go. The current owner is surrendering him because he doesn’t do well with her goats. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible!
