I thought I’d have him forever but my landlord won’t let me have him and isn’t giving me a lot of time to rehome him. I can’t move out yet, so I’m in a bind. I love my dog he’s great, he just got into my landlords chicken coop and is upset.

I’m a six-year-old Australian shepherd mix with a high-falutin merle coloring. I’m fully grown at about 30 pounds, though I could stand to gain a few more to fill out these rugged bones. Life out on the range was tough, and while my heart is as big as the sky, my manners are still a bit wild. But don’t let that fool you—I’m friendly as a spring breeze with both dogs and folks alike. In fact, I really like youngin’s! For a spell now, I’ve been bunkin’ at Miss Kitty’s Wild West Saloon. I’m almost full grown, about 50-55 pounds I would say I’m in the perfect size of not too small and not too big which puts me at the perfect height for convenient head pats! I’m potty trained with a dog door, but don’t have accidents if the door must be closed off. I’m good with dog-savvy cats, my current foster home has 4 cats. I am always friends with all the dogs and humans I meet. I love walks and my favorite place to go on a drive to is the dog park. Luke is about 10-11 years old. We adopted him from Utah Valley Animal Shelter. He has been with us since 2016 and has been an adored family member. We have to part with him due to my son having developed a severe allergic reaction to dogs. He is a very loving family dog. We have two children that he just adores. He is not as active as he was when he was younger, but he is still active for his age. He loves going for walks and has just the right amount of energy to be ok with being primarily inside now. He is of course potty trained and doesn't often have accidents, he has never destroyed any property even due to boredom. He has been a great family member as long as we have had im. Please reach out if you can take him as this is an urgent situation for our family with my son's allergies. I have everything you will need for him to include a large crate (He is crate trained), water fountain (running water machine for cleaner water), and a large dog food storage container ($300 value).
