Hello! I'm looking to rehome a resuce dog named Dot. My father had a massive stroke 2 weeks ago and I can no longer care for him as I'm 90% of the time in rehabilitation with my father. Little background on Dot... He was found wondering the streets in the spring. He was very skinny. He had a collar with no tag. Took him to the vet and he is chipped. Fpund his name to be Dot. Hes been fixed, and he's approximately 6 yrs old. He is kennel trained and potty trained. Loves to play fetch.. I mean addicted to it. Haha 😄 Months later after tracking down his owner, which stats "he can no longer care for him". So I've been caring for him every since. What I've learned about Dot since owning him, he's a lover for sure. He does pretty well with my dog, but can be territorial over his food and toys at times and he does like to chase cats. He have 2 in my house take he has adjusted to, but still likes to chase them. He does well with my 7 and 10 yr old with no issues. He's gone camping with us

Story
Cadence and her three siblings were found abandoned, left in a box out in the cold. After being examined by the vet their age was identified as 7-8 weeks old, born October 2023. We do not know her breed(s) but based on the attached weight projection chart we believe she will be a medium sized dog (35-40ish pounds) when fully grown. See photo on the scales-these were taken upon entry to the rescue. Cadence was the largest puppy in the litter. Cadence is very treat motivated and eager to learn. She knows wait, sit, down, place, high-five, spin and is working on sit up. She is crate trained-and will go in when instructed to do so and fully potty trained. Cadence is confident, playful, sensitive and cuddly. She is currently living with dogs and cats. She would do great in a home with a fenced yard and a person or family that is committed to her continued growth and development and will cherish her for her lifetime. She is working on her potty training, knows basic commands and rides well in a car. Her ideal forever home would be one with breed experience as she is from a working breed line. She will thrive in an active home that will continue her training. She will do best in a home with another active canine companion of similar energy level. Mallie will require a home with a secure fenced yard, she’s a climber and so at least a 6 foot fence is required. If there are children in the home, over the age of 8 is preferred.
