After much consideration, we’ve decided to rehome Lola. She’s a wonderful dog, but her reactivity has increased, especially since the birth of our children. There have been a few incidents where she left marks on our 2-year-old, so she needs a home without children. Additionally, her behavior towards our other dog has worsened recently, so a home without other pets is ideal. Lola is a very chill dog when solo. While she enjoys going on walks, she is also a fan of just chilling on the couch or playing with a toy. She is also a big fan of being groomed and would lay down for hours while you brushed her and always receives high praise while she is at the groomer. Unfortunately, she suffers from a lot of anxiety, which can create negative situations that could be avoided with the ideal household. If you’re interested in adopting Lola, please contact us privately. A rehoming fee of $75 applies. Thank you for helping us find the best home for her!

Rusty came to us from Ozark Pet Rescue down in Missouri when a breeder felt he was too old to be of use. He is a happy go lucky guy and is always smiling. When Rusty greets you his whole backend wiggles with joy. Rusty's looking for his new home where he can offically be retired and just be a dog. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. I was an outside dog before coming here, what can I say...I love being outside! I am also very good here at the shelter and have had no accidents. I know certain commands like "come" and "sit", and respond very well when people call my name. I really love playing fetch and my favorite toys at the shelter are all balls, I will grab one and wait for you to throw another one then try to keep both. I get along pretty well with the other older more relaxed dogs here at the shelter, so I would probably get along well with another dog with the same temperament. I don't jump up on people most of the time and will sit for a treat. If you think you have room in your heart for a fun guy like me please submit an application today!
