Story
Saddle is an handsome 2 year old Australian Shepherd Mix male. He weighs about 40 pounds. He has gorgeous, soft medium length red coat with white accents and bright blue eyes. Saddle is a gentle yet playful pup who cannot wait to have a home of his very own in WI. Saddle loves people people, but would do best in a quieter home without a lot of foot traffic/guests. He does well with older children, dogs of all sizes, and even likes kitties! He is always smiling and just happy to have love from his favorite people! Saddle does well on a long tie out in his foster home, but would absolutely love a fenced yard! Saddle is potty trained in his foster home, and does well in a crate, but generally does not need to be crated. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition. He is being fostered in Muskego, WI. His adoption fee is $400, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. If you’re not already familiar with our group, please feel free to visit our Group Page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity If you are serious about this pup, please contact us at DogTrailRides@gmail.com. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. If a dog is listed as PENDING, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . Story
Banks is fostered in Ottumwa, Iowa.  Say hello to this handsome and INCREDIBLY sweet boy named Banks. Banks is a male, standard aussie, weighing about 40 lbs and is estimated around 5 years old. Banks is a SWEET boy and would love nothing more than a home with plenty of love and another outgoing dog friend. Banks' first few years were spent with approximately 60 other dogs on a property.  When the man was getting evicted, he gave away all the dogs to random people that arrived to pick one out.  Thankfully, Banks was given to a responsible person that allowed us to take him into rescue. His coat was in rough shape with matting and had to be shaved.  His coat has returned nicely and he looks REMARKABLE. Banks goes to doggie daycare and plays well with many other dogs. Banks will chill after a fair amount of play, chew on antlers or bones. Banks is being fostered with many other dogs and does wonderfully. Banks has great house manners; is crate trained and house trained. While Banks is a little timid and shy, he is SOOO happy and has learned SO MUCH in foster care.  He does seek out pets from his foster home and even gives a few kisses.  He also sleeps in the bed with other dogs and does VERY well being left out in the house. Banks will do best with another outgoing, social dog in the home to take cues from.  Banks does require a physically fenced yard.  Banks is even good with cats.  Little kids may scare Banks, so no children under 10 years of age.   Banks is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccines (including Lyme) and is receiving monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms.  Proof of heartworm preventatives for all past and current pets is required to adopt from us.  If you have what it takes to help Banks blossom into the bestest boy, please visit our website for more information on our adoption process, see our adoption fees, and find a link to our adoption application.  www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org.   NOTE:  All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers so we need an approved application on file to set up a meet with a dog you might have an interest in.  Please visit our website for more information on our adoption process, our adoption fees and a link to our adoption application.  We pride ourselves on matches that work for both the dog and your family.  MASR is here for your support, advice and safety net for our dogs for the remainder of their lives.  www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org ##1850267##
