I’m a sweet girl who loves nothing more than lounging at home and playing fetch or keep-away with my favorite balls. I may be a bit older, but I’m still full of energy and love to stay active! I’m totally potty trained and do well with crate time, though sometimes I’ll bark if I don’t get my way. I also need daily eye drops, but I’m good about taking them. I prefer a quieter, adult-only home since busy places and small kids make me nervous. I do best as an only dog so I can get all your attention. We can Netflix and chill on the couch and I promise to be your bestest friend and loyal companion. Foster mom says I’ll keep you laughing all day long with my bulldog antics and hey, we can check out the world.  I am leash trained and like to go for short walks. Listen, I may not be the fastest or most fit, but I can keep up! At home, I’m super affectionate with the adults I trust, and I love snuggling on the couch—yep, I’m a big lap dog! I’m happy going on leash walks for potty breaks and exercise, so I don’t need a fenced yard. I was in a shelter down in Texas and thanks to some bulldogs loving people, made my way up to Underdog! I had horrible cherry eyes and had surgery on those and lemme tell ya seeing well sure is fun.  Now, I’m a healthy guy and can’t wait to find my forever. I’m what they call a bowling ball of a bulldog. I’m either napping - or ready to party. Everything is so fun - eating, treats, bones, walks a you name it I’m game to check it out and will probably love it. I’d love to enroll in a Basic Obedience class with you and learn some manners. I have no ill intent, but the humans tell me I need to learn “sit” “leave it” and “off” and that it would make me a more well mannered guy. I can get mouthy when excited, never biting, but when I get excited I try to put something in my mouth.  I love pleasing the humans in my house and making them laugh. They do that a lot - laughing at my silly antics. I’m do great on leash and love going for walks. I enjoy meeting new friends - both humans and dogs. Potty training is still something we’re working on, but together I know we’ll master together. I’m crate trained, but may bark in there for a few minutes, but do settle down and sleep in there overnight or while you’re away. After a good play session, I love a good dog bed to snooze away on. My ideal forever home would have older kids I can’t knock over - sorry to the little ones. I’m sure we’d be great friends, I just don’t know my size.  I’m good with non alpha dogs, but would love to be an only dog, too! If you do have another dog that likes to romp and roll and play, that would be fun! This gal and brothers were found on the side of the road. This is a wonderful group! They do not bark unless playing and just like to have a fun time! They are very friendly and get along with everyone. Yuki has a little spark in her from having to deal with her brothers all of the time. She is very sweet but can hold her own when needed. They will need all the basic puppy training with everything that comes with it. She is a wonderful pup who would make a great addition to any family. She is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Hi! My name is Scoops. I’m a 3 year old bulldog who was found as a stray and brought to Animal Control. I didn’t love being in the shelter, so luckily I was able to join The Rescue Crew and live in a house! I am very goofy and LOVE all the toys. Bones/stuffed animals/ropes…you name it, I love it! I will play tug with you, or play fetch, though I don’t always drop it – it’s fun to fetch but only sometimes – sometimes it’s more fun to play tug, or I will throw the toy for myself to play with. I love chewing on nummy bones too! I don’t love my crate but after a little protesting I will settle down and take a snooze in it. I know to do my potty business outside, but I need you to bring me out on a schedule because I’m not the best at alerting when I need to go! But if you bring me out every few hours I’m totally good and won’t have any accidents (I sleep all night no problem with no need to go out). I live with cats and dogs right now. The cats I really want to chase/play with so I should go to a home with dog-savvy cats or no cats at all though I am pretty easily re-directed with a toy or treat. I also live with some dogs here – I get along fabulously with the dogs my size and we love playing all sorts of games but I’m pretty nervous around the dog bigger than me so I would do best with dogs that are submissive and/or are my own size with a slow introduction! If you don’t have any other animals, that’s okay too – I’d love to be your one and only and get all the toys and attention. After I play with all the toys I love getting petted, I will roll over so you can rub my belly – belly rubs are the best! I really want a home with people around a lot to play with me and give me all the love! I’m a little stubborn at times (it’s my genetics don’t blame me), but I make up for it with my hilarious antics and adorable face. Foster mom tells me all the time how cute I am and how sweet I am and she can’t wait for me to find my own family to continue to learn all about this good life with, is that family you?! Marlee is a fun name for a fun gal! I was living my life and having some fun, except no one got me "fixed" so the fun ended up with me being a single mother with 6 hungry mouths to feed!!! Who thinks that their fun will lead to months of feeding and my milk producers dragging on the ground :( I sure didn't... However, I LOVE MY BABIES!!! Now that they are on their own in foster homes, that is :) I am a fun gal, I love to play with my friends and I am great with other playful and fun dogs. I am a climber and a jumper so it may be why I was out playing in the first place.... but I digress... I am happy and sweet and I have the gorgeous soft, PLENTIFUL muzzle of a Shar Pei, with the energy of a lab or shepherd or who knows what other breed I am. Have you ever heard on the TV, well a hoarder's house has been raided and ... animals have been seized and sent to the pound or rescue organizations in the area.... WELL, we are FROM just that kind of situation :( The good thing is we were SAVED... the bad thing is that we had to ENDURE the neglect and disgusting home. The BEST thing is we were ALL SAVED by a rescue group who REFUSED to leave even ONE behind...... 30 dogs/pups ALL AT ONCE has been taxing and motivating for the rescuers. If you watch our video, the situation was very very challenging but our rescuers worked their butts off to save us. We are almost all ready for adoption, all the pups are social and ready for their furever homes! The young adults and adults are a little more shy but have been working really hard with our rescuers to be ready for YOU!! We are a unique "breed" mix, lol. Aunts/Uncles/Parents/SIblings... all "living" together. We have Shar Pei, Scruffy dogs, Pit Bull, and maybe Spaniel mixed in there :D We are all pretty much medium sized, 20-50# and cute as HECK!! **Crinkle, crinkle, CRINKLE*** ever tried to be quiet in a theater while opening your candy bag?? Well, that is my LIFE!!! I have wrinkles and creases and crinkles EVERYWHERE!!! But, hey! I am a Shar Pei, so what else do I do?? (i mean besides look so so cute?) Yes, can you believe a purebred Shar Pei tied to a post... only in South Texas :(, that was 3 years ago.... But, I am one of the lucky ones! I was even adopted 3 years ago!!! However, my luck ran out when my owner died and his kids couldn't keep me....
