Saltine is a little lover- he loves to cuddle! He sleeps in bed every night and is right up against his foster mom. He gets along well with the resident dogs and likes to ride in the car. He is food obsessed. He most likely was not fed regularly, and he inhales food. A slow feeder bowl is a must. He will also push resident dogs right out of their bowls and inhale their food- so he will need to bed fed separately from other pets and have their food kept away. A home that “free feeds” current pets will not work for Saltine. He is house trained, but he does “leg lift” in the home on occasion. Due to have such pronounced Bulldog legs, he is not going to be running partner, but would love a walk!

She needed emergency to save her life. She survived, and then had to go though heartworm treatment! She’s finally healthy and ready for her family! Baddie enjoys hiking and playing in the mud, although she can’t last long on hikes. She loves toys and playing tug of war. She lives with a lot of dogs, but can be bossy at times. She rides well in the car. Her favorite thing is affection and she will roll over for a belly rub any chance she gets.

You are the one I have been waiting for. King of my heart Meet King - a year and a half bulldog/boxer mix full of personality. As you can see from his picture, he is Mr Handsome! But he’s also a really good boy! He is house trained other than marking where other dogs have been- which is likely to subside once he’s neutered. In the meantime, he has been doing great with a belly band! He knows lots of commands such as sit, stay, lay down, paw, high five etc. He loves to play fetch and tug of war, and gets along great with other dogs and kids over 8. Younger kids - especially toddlers- excite him too much, and he can’t resist trying to give them LOTS of kisses. Despite his strong appearance, King is hesitant of new sites and sounds and needs reassurances (or a comfort bone to chew on) to put him at ease. When he is afraid he runs away from the new person or sound and slowly tests his bravery. He is not a fan of crates - we think he was first exposed to one when turned into the shelter - but has been doing well left home alone without one. King is excited to find his forever family! Where are the Bulldog lovers?! Meet the next love of your life, Chedwick aka "the tank"! He's a heart throb, from his adorable tongue that sicks out most of the time, to his curly little tail! His favorite things in the world are his toys, especially squeeky balls. You will find him just relaxing with his ball hanging out of his mouth. This guy is fantastic with other dogs and cats, but he is looking for a home without young children. This is because he just can't contain his excitement when it comes to toys. This is something that can be worked on with training. However, if you have Chedwicks toy, or something he thinks is a toy, he's going to try to grab it out of your hands and he's not very gentle about it. He's mouthy, but not intentionally. That is his only downfall, he's otherwise a perfect dog. When he wants attention and you're not giving it to him he sits down at your feet and paws at you, it's adorable. Chedwick is fantastic with leash walking, he doesn't pull and turns around to make sure you're close by if he goes the full lenth of his leash. This dude is a professional at catching balls in his mouth and playing tug of war. Chedwick came to us from animal control. He is 5-6 years old and just finished his treatment for lyme disease. As far as house training he will need some work. He will go every time you take him out, but he will go inside if not taken out when he needs to go. Chedwick deserves his forever home. Who thinks that their fun will lead to months of feeding and my milk producers dragging on the ground :( I sure didn't... However, I LOVE MY BABIES!!! Now that they are on their own in foster homes, that is :) I am a fun gal, I love to play with my friends and I am great with other playful and fun dogs. I am a climber and a jumper so it may be why I was out playing in the first place.... but I digress... I am happy and sweet and I have the gorgeous soft, PLENTIFUL muzzle of a Shar Pei, with the energy of a lab or shepherd or who knows what other breed I am. Have you ever heard on the TV, well a hoarder's house has been raided and ... animals have been seized and sent to the pound or rescue organizations in the area.... WELL, we are FROM just that kind of situation :( The good thing is we were SAVED... the bad thing is that we had to ENDURE the neglect and disgusting home. The BEST thing is we were ALL SAVED by a rescue group who REFUSED to leave even ONE behind...... 30 dogs/pups ALL AT ONCE has been taxing and motivating for the rescuers. If you watch our video, the situation was very very challenging but our rescuers worked their butts off to save us. We are almost all ready for adoption, all the pups are social and ready for their furever homes! The young adults and adults are a little more shy but have been working really hard with our rescuers to be ready for YOU!! We are a unique "breed" mix, lol. Aunts/Uncles/Parents/SIblings... all "living" together. We have Shar Pei, Scruffy dogs, Pit Bull, and maybe Spaniel mixed in there :D We are all pretty much medium sized, 20-50# and cute as HECK!!
