Dozer is a 4-year-old Foxhound and English Coonhound mix, who currently weighs around 42 pounds, but is still gaining weight, but shouldn’t be more than 50 pounds. Dozer is fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Dozer is a lovely boy who has not let his past life, which probably wasn’t the best, stop him from being friendly and just wanting to be around humans. Dozer is very laid back and in his foster home, he hangs out with the other dogs, but pretty much leaves everyone alone, as he would rather find out where the human is and hang out with them. Dozer came into the rescue very underweight, and he is now eating great and starting to pack on the pounds. He is not going to be a big boy, but trim and “dainty”. Dozer is learning that he never has to spend another night outside and be hurt again, so please understand if he is not 100% potty trained and maybe a little confused while he learns the ropes. Dozer has not been around children yet, nor cats, but we figure he would like a chill family. If you are looking for a chill, laid back adult dog that will shower you with nothing but love, please consider Dozer. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age. **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. Tabitha is a 65 pound super sweet labrador-hound mix. She is shorter than the average labrador but a solid mass of adult puppy lovin' joy. She is friendly and happy to greet two legged and four legged walkers alike. She is spayed and up to date on shots. She is heartworm positive but is starting treatment and doing very well. She is house trained and learning basic commands. Tabitha enjoys cuddles, walks, dog parks and treats. Currently happily living with two dogs thriving in a social environment and would love a home with a dog sibling or friends. She can also be chill and with time and support, also do well as a single person’s best buddy. Tabitha is smart and motivated. She is fed separately from other dogs but isn't protective of her food from humans. She picks up interesting and good smelling items but is quick and happy to take toy or chewy exchange. Currently she is only leash walked and doing great. I'm sure she is good in fenced yard with human company. Tabitha is usually quiet but sometimes has howled mournfully if left alone. She does great with routine and sleeps fine in a large wire crate. She has not met an unlikable human yet.
