If you’re looking for a sweet and playful companion who adores people, then we just might be a perfect match.I’m currently in a foster home with two other dogs and a small child, and I love having playmates—both the furry and human kind! I do great in my crate when my foster family is out, but when they’re home, I’m ready to go! I have lots of energy and need daily exercise, so I’d love a home with a fenced yard or land where I can sniff, run, and explore. Apartment life? No thanks! I need space to stretch my legs and be my goofy, bouncy self.I’m working on my basic training and learning good manners, but I can be a little stubborn sometimes (hey, I’m a hound—we like to do things our way!). This sweet boy is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, ready to join a new family. Though Dozer’s past may not have been the best, it certainly hasn’t stopped him from being a loving, friendly companion. He’s learning what it means to be part of a family and absolutely thrives on affection. Dozer loves cuddling on the couch with his foster family, and he’s always ready for a good petting session. But don't let his sweet demeanor fool you – this boy also has plenty of energy! He’s just starting to embrace playtime and is discovering how to interact with humans and other dogs in a fun, positive way. You’ll likely need to help him learn the ropes, but it’s part of his journey. Dozer is house and crate trained, making him a great addition to any home. He has lived with a cat and gets along well with them. Though he doesn’t live with children, his interactions during adoption events suggest that he would do just fine with them. Meet Landon Carter! He is a super love bug who is obsessed with toys, treats and other dog friends! Landon is quite the character and will show it to everyone he meets! He can be quite shy in his kennel and when first meeting new people but give it 60 seconds and you will have a new best friend. Landon is a staff favorite because of how much we work with him. He is a smart kid who definitely needs attention, training and lots of things to keep his mind busy. You could call Landon a bit of project because of how he gets when he's excited. Landon is slowly learning how to deal with super exciting and super scary things that come up in life, just like the rest of us. The ideal home for Landon Carter is someone willing to put up with his eccentric behavior as well as someone willing to commit to some training time. Although Landon is not a puppy, he still thinks like one. Landon loves other dogs and is more than willing to go home with one as long as they can deal with a little rough housing.
