Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Venice, an American English Coonhound, is the duchess of the shelter: calm, regal and impeccably well behaved. And her coloring is stunning: a combination of Blue and Red Tick Hound with merle swirls. She is around 4-5 years old, spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on her vaccinations. A favorite with the volunteers, Venice loves to be leash walked and to explore the play yard. She is particularly keen on digging a little hollow in the mulch and stretching out to nap. She is fine with other dogs although she would rather they weren’t too much in her queenly face. Venice would make a great family dog and is good around children. Friendly and easy going   PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at FOACinfo@gmail.com. All adoptions begin with an application, found under the "Animals" tab on our website, friendsofcampbellcounty.org. *Unaltered babies under the age of six months can be adopted only to residents of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, and counties touching Campbell County. *Unaltered adult pets six months or older will need to be sterilized before they can be adopted outside our local area of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, or counties touching Campbell. *We do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice. *We do not permit cats or kittens to be declawed following adoption.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 19, 2024, 12:11 pm
