Story
Now would you look at this sweet pea? He is just too cute and sweet and his name is Benji. He came to the shelter on 1/21 because his former family decided they did not want to be responsible pet parents and take care of this angel. He thought he had a forever home but his owners let him down. Other information they provided for us about Benji is that he is great with dogs and he is housebroken. He is a beautiful and sweet boy that needs his life turned around very soon. He is very intelligent as he knows to basic commands such as sit when asked and lay down. He may know more and he would love to show you if you would give him a chance. And what he doesn't know you can take the time to teach him. He would be a wonderful student if you would take the time and effort to teach him everything he doesn't know already. Benji is feeling a bit confused as to why he is here but once he is outside, he opens up very quickly. He is described as cute, sweet, energetic, playful. He does love a good game of fetch and chase. He walks well on a leash too. He just needs people who love him no matter where he came from, that will give him the patience, love, respect and understanding that he deserves. This may have been the only home he has ever known. He stays quiet in his run while he is waiting for his new home. He would like to have that second chance to have a family once again and not stay in a shelter for too long. Can you help him find his way to his forever home? He would like that so much. Nice bed, lots of toys to play with, good meals and lots of love and attention from you. If you can help his make his dream come true, then he is your boy!
Benji is current on vaccines, neutered and micro chipped already. He is negative for heart worms which is super news for him. He is in Run 51 and his ID is 7669. Benji is approx. 6 years old and weighs a mere 47lbs. He is still a baby and he really doesn't deserve to live out his life in a loud, overcrowded shelter. Please give this sweet boy a solid chance. He needs you now more than ever.
