Story
Huxlee is a well mannered 45 lbs mix breed 3 year old boy. He would do best in a home with children over 12 and no other dogs. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.

Meet Aurora! Aurora is one of the 8 dogs rescued from a horrific hoarding case in Hall county. We are so glad they are with us so they can find their forever homes! These dogs are under-socialized meaning they will need patience and understanding in their new homes. While these dogs may take some time to adjust to new surroundings and people, they are ready for a family who will continue to give them the space and love they need to flourish. Aurora weighs 41lbs., is approximately 4 years old (est. birth date 08/19/2020), and her adoption fee is $315. Averi has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
