Sarah is a very smart pup! Living up to her namesake (Sarah from the Netflix Series "Outer Banks"), she is more mischievous and rambunctious than her sister Wheezie. All of our Outer Banks litter pups are very playful and sweet, and Sarah is no exception. She loves to be held and cuddled, and she'll never turn down a belly rub! Sarah and Wheezie love people and get along great with other playful dogs. We have not tested Sarah with cats or kids yet but since they're so young and friendly, we foresee no issues! Sarah will complete her vet care in mid- July. Certain adopters may be eligible to foster-to-adopt Sarah and bring her home sooner. SBF adoptions start off with a 2-week trial period to ensure that the SBF dog is a good fit for your family and current pets. The adoption fee is due the day an adopter starts the 2-week trial period. If the adoption does not work out within those two weeks, the adopter will be refunded all but a $50 donation, or they can put the fee towards another adoptable dog.

SBF was founded by Mara DeLaus and Ciara Hagedorn in 2022. After years of volunteering for a fellow organization, they saw a significant need for additional rescue resources in their area.
