Two words will come to mind when you look at Travis Barker's face: STUD MUFFIN! If he doesn't win you over with his good looks, he will definitely conquer you with his big, loving heart. Admittedly, he is a bit shy at first, but once you pass his sniff test, he will reveal to you his affectionate nature. He LOVES his car rides, head scratches and snacks.
Travis Barker is not just a pretty face. He knows the "sit command" and says he is looking to learn more with the right person. He's a healthy, good-natured guy who is looking for his furever home that includes a high fence since he is known to bust a move out of a yard. There are 65 pounds of love pure love waiting for you at the FAMD. Stop by and introduce yourself. Be prepared to fall in love!
For current adoption fees, please see our website, www.metrodetroitanimals.org. Adoption fee includes: age-appropriate vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, ID tag, fecal / worming, basic physical and behavior assessment. Dogs (6 months and older) receive an occult heartworm test. For an additional $20, cats (12 weeks and older) can be tested for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) / FLV (feline leukemia).

Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit (FAMD) brings a little more love into the world by celebrating the special bond between an animal and their “person.” At FAMD, we don’t just rescue dogs and cats, we make life-changing connections with the people who adopt them.
We bring our passion and animals into the community with events that help bring together dogs and cats with loving people. And our outreach programs help promote education and animal welfare legislation locally, so that fewer animals have to spend another minute waiting for their forever home.
FAMD’s new state-of-the-art Animal Adoption and Education Center at 16121 Reckinger Road in Dearborn offers animals comfortable housing and medical support. It’s where our staff and volunteers work every day to make Metro Detroit a happier, more loving place for both two-legged and four-legged creatures alike.
