Meet Roko, a 2-year-old bundle of sweetness looking for his forever home! This adorable boy might be a little bashful at first, but once he warms up, he’s all about love and cuddles. Roko thrives on attention and will happily snuggle up beside you or soak up belly rubs. He’s also a big fan of treats (and who can blame him?). Roko’s youthful energy makes him perfect for an active family who enjoys playtime and outdoor adventures. Whether it’s a game of fetch or a walk in the park, he’s always ready to join the fun. Roko would do best with a family who can help him continue to grow in confidence and shower him with affection. Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit (FAMD) brings a little more love into the world by celebrating the special bond between an animal and their “person.” At FAMD, we don’t just rescue dogs and cats, we make life-changing connections with the people who adopt them.
We bring our passion and animals into the community with events that help bring together dogs and cats with loving people. And our outreach programs help promote education and animal welfare legislation locally, so that fewer animals have to spend another minute waiting for their forever home.
FAMD’s new state-of-the-art Animal Adoption and Education Center at 16121 Reckinger Road in Dearborn offers animals comfortable housing and medical support. It’s where our staff and volunteers work every day to make Metro Detroit a happier, more loving place for both two-legged and four-legged creatures alike.
