My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BAXTER IS AN ACTIVE PUP LOOKING FOR HIKING /RUNNING PARTNER FOR LIFE!!!

Baxter is an energetic 6 month old boy that would be a GREAT hiking companion or running partner !! Baxter thrives on being active...he is not one to sit and watch the world go by, he wants to participate in it!!

Baxter came to us from the Santa Cruz Animal Control shelter in Nogales, Arizona. He has been loving The Good Life with his foster family....chasing butterflies and learning how to be the bestest good boy!!

A little about Baxter:
* UTD on shots
* Neutered
* 6 months old
* Potty trained
* Very Dog friendly
* Loves to Play
* Very active
* Would do ok with older children 12+ due to his activity level
*Would do GREAT in an active family

More about this rescue

Hello! Thanks for checking us out. We are a 501-c3 non profit rescue and rehab service in Tucson, AZ

We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs from the streets of Mexico in cooperation with other animal rescue organizations in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

Our shelter in Hermosillo, Sonora, Vidas Con Causa, currently has over 150 dogs. There, we provide medical care and a loving place for them to heal before coming to the US, then we foster and work on finding the perfect fit for adoption. You can also visit the available dogs at the rescue in Mexico. Our rescue partners spend a lot of time getting to know the dogs and we know MOST of their
perks and quirks!

We help special needs dogs, the amputees, the pregnant Pitties, the MexiMutts, those from small independent shelters who don't get much notice, the cancer patients. We provide round-the-clock care until these dogs are ready for rehoming.
