Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Introducing your favorite Border Collie, Kodak! This seven-year-old, 47-pound good boy is a lover of all toys, fetch, and giving hugs to everyone he meets. Kodak`s previous owner stated that he`s friendly with people of all ages, except for the UPS man (we get it, Kodak!).
Kodak is a loving and affectionate boy who would thrive in a medium-energy household where he can both relax and play. While he primarily lived outdoors in his previous home, he could also easily transition to indoor living. We`re sure he would be ecstatic to be welcomed up on the couch.
Here at the shelter, Kodak is generally good at going potty outside but has occasional accidents. With a consistent routine in a home environment, we believe he`ll quickly adjust.
A meet and greet with any current dogs in your home is required.
Kodak is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. You can visit him at The Babinski Foundation in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, Tuesdays through Sundays from 8:30 to 5:00 PM!

We strive to ensure a safe, healthy, and loving environment that will provide temporary shelter for abandoned, stray, and surrendered animals and to find each animal a new and prosperous home.
The Babinski Foundation is a private 501c3 animal shelter located in Pequot Lakes, MN. We are a safe place to surrender dogs and cats. We also are a stray drop-off facility for stray cats and dogs.
OUR STORY
The Babinski Foundation was established in 2010 by Donald and Elizabeth Babinski owners and founders of Babinski Properties which owns multifamily housing in Minnesota, Florida and South Dakota. He and his wife Elizabeth were working tirelessly to get the animal shelter opened which was their dream, but Donald Babinski passed away August 11th, 2014 before the shelter could open. Elizabeth continued where they left off and the Foundation opened in January 2016 in Pequot Lakes, MN. Elizabeth passed away on November 13th, 2020. Donald and Elizabeth’s dream was finally realized, and Donald and Elizabeth’s surviving family and friends will continue to work hard to fulfill their mission.
