She’ll kidnap your heart!
Meet Shock! Shock is in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area (see information below in the “Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue” section).
“Birds of a feather. Now and Forever!” (Lock, Shock and Barrel)
If you are looking for a pup to be your bird of a feather, Shock may be your girl! Born on October 25, 2024, affectionate, gentle Shock is a young black colored puppy with white blaze markings. We guess she is a labrador mix and will be in the 40-60 lb. range (mama is quite petite) when grown. Part of the Nightmare Before Christmas litter, she traveled with her mom and four siblings from the Del Rio Animal Shelter in Texas to find new homes in the PNW area.
Cuddly Shock is friendly, affectionate, and playful. A miniature of her mom, Shock is just as cute and has her sweet, gentle, friendly temperament. A medium energy puppy, she enjoys her chew toys but what she really wants is to be close to you and warm. Snuggles? Yes, please! Curling up on your lap? Shock’s all in for that. A warm nest of blankets for an afternoon nap? That would be divine (she’s not a fan of the cold). Sweet and gentle, she plays well with other dogs, kids and cats. She’s a perfect little companion puppy. Shock and her delightful personality will kidnap your heart.
Shock is a young puppy and has started potty training; she will begin leash and obedience training shortly. She is quite smart, and she has already picked up that she needs to sit to receive her food. She has taken well to a crate and will quietly spend several hours at a time in it with her chews. Shock is spending her days getting lots of cuddles, playtime, love, and new adventures with her foster family and growing into a healthy, active, affectionate pup ready for her new home.
Shock’s ideal home? She seeks someone to love who will love her in return and will ensure she learns the skills that will make her a happy and well-rounded dog. Shock would do well in a home with kids, dogs, and cats; lots of cuddles, play, and warm places to nap would make her the happiest of pups. Does this sound like your home?
