My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We think our adorable Oreo has a lot in common with double-stuffed Oreo sandwich cookies! Not only does his dashing black and white coat resemble the cookie colors, he’s also packed full of tender sweetness!

One of his volunteer friends recently shared:

“I took Oreo and his kennelmate to a play yard today. Oreo was friendly in his kennel, bouncy, and excited to get out and go! He eagerly walked over to the play yard and once in the yard, he came over to me for snuggles. He is a treat hound; finding the treats in my pocket, he tried to fit his whole head in there to get
them- goofy guy! He is a cuddly little guy and loved sitting by my side getting pets and treats.”

In a former home Oreo lived with another dog and was reported to be crate trained. He’s looking forward to a furever home where he can take it slow meeting new people. In the shelter he has warmed up quickly to his caretakers and handlers- once he knows you, he will love you for life!

Oreo shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been appropriate and independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He was people-oriented and wanted to hang out getting attention from the staff.

If you’re looking for a sweet treat (minus the crumbs on your shirt and the extra calories), come scoop up our sweet Oreo today!
